Great place to stay close to everything

The property was just as described. It was so beautiful and clean. Right in walking distance to everything. You will not be sorry if you rent this condo. I hope to be able to rent it again whenever we go back.

It was a great location and clean, we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely use it again!!

44th wedding anniversary

At first I thought it was going to be ideal, but I was mistaken. The sofa sleeper mattress had 2 great big stains on it ad there was no mattress cover for it, I had to use both the bottom sheet and top sheet to cover it just to feel comfortable sleeping on it. There were only 4 towels provided, the green set had all bleach stains all over them, and once you go to the pool, you are left with 1 towel for the rest of the week, spoke with the owner and he said that those towels were probably ones that were used at the pool and I should have brought my own. I've never had to bring towels at any other VRBO that I rented, that was a first. There was no grab bar in the shower, which I reminded him that for senior citizens it could present a safety issue. Also the sliding door out to the balcony was not working properly. We did enjoy Gatlinburg, just not so much with the accommodations.

You won’t be disappointed if you stay at this beautiful condo - my Mom and I really enjoyed it!

Condo is very clean. Size is very small and good for 2 ppl. Sitting in living room and watching TV is like sitting in the front row of a movie theater. Sofa is uncomfortable and tv is small. Also basic cable and no ESPN or sports channel. Bathroom has no counter space and is hard to maneuver around in especially after a shower. When sitting on the balcony you are watching the people across from you watching you! The location is great and the bed is good.

My wife and I make a yearly trip to Gatlinburg which ranges from a 5 - 6 day stay. We primarily focus on long hikes during the day. We'll leave in the morning and will not return to the condo/cabin until that evening. Then we'll go out on the parkway for dinner and fun. I say all that to let you know we spend very little time in the rental. Pros: - Very Clean, well decorated, and the small space is utilized well. Even though there's still a Christmas tree in the living room. - The location is perfect. Within walking distance of the main parkway and never having to pay a single parking fee was the best part. Cons: - No washer or dryer in the unit itself. We hike in all weather, so having those readily available is a must. They are on the premises; however, you have to pay and obviously wait if you wash or dry anything. - Most places you rent have a smart tv with Netflix, etc. This is not an option here. There are only two basic flatscreens with basic cable and one with a DVD player. Not a huge deal for us, but don't expect to Netflix and chill. Overall it's a nice little place for one or two people. It'll be quite uncomfortable if you try to squeeze in any more. If you're fine with no washer or dryer in the unit, this is the perfect place. The host was responsive, it was well priced and very cozy. I was not impressed with the actual Oak Square complex itself (quite rundown) but that is not reflected in this review. I'll leave them a separate Google review.

This is an older condo building with not much views, but the area is very clean, the condo itself is updated and decorated very nice and clean. It had everything we needed. The on-site covered parking was a plus. We could walk to restaurants, stores and attractions easily. Communication thru the VRBO site was tricky. It took me several different options of “Message Host” to get one to work. I didn’t try texting directly so not sure if that would have been better/easier. Have never had that problem before.

The condo was nice and as described. The convenience of being only steps away from the parkway is unbeatable. The only driving done was if we left out of Gatlinburg. There were only two issues with the condo. The first being the WiFi was intermittent at best. This is only a problem if you are relying on it. The second was with the air conditioning. With the thermostat set on 68 degrees, most days, the temperature never dropped below 74. This was not unbearable just a little uncomfortable at bed time. It may be more of an issue in the summer months.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location was great and our accommodations were wonderful.

Cozy accommodations within walking distance of everything. Clean and very nice stay. Perfect for my wife and I.

Condo was very nice and clean. We liked the area of the condo also. Having the host send the key and just being able to go to the condo when we arrived was a plus. This is a really great choice for a couple or maybe a family of 4.

Enjoyed very nice!

Another great trip in Gatlinburg staying at Oak Square. Always a great place to stay and convenient to all the major attractions Gatlinburg has to offer. We only had to use our vehicle to hit the outlets in Pigeon Forge.

Varbo online was easy to navigate and the check-in process was easy to follow. Was a little disappointed with out side of Cono Complex but it was obvious that HMO was working to clean it up. Indoor pool was being remodeled. Parking area was well lit.

This was a great rental! Very clean and fresh feeling throughout, and you can’t beat the location. I was able to park my car for the entire duration of my stay and walk as it was so close to everything! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed with two of our grown children. It was a bit tight due to being only a one bedroom and one bath, but it worked! Fantastic location! We could walk to everything in Gatlinburg. Very clean. Host was very responsive.

The property was just ideal for our 2 night stay. Cleaned, decorated nicely, and convenient to walking to or driving a short distance to the many activities .. We enjoyed our stay .

This place was so cute and cozy. We usually stay in a cabin a couple times a year and decided to give something new a go. This place has a cute small cabin feel and was the perfect size for what the two of us needed. When first entering we was very pleased with the cleanliness. The location is perfect. Very peaceful and extremely convenient. Walking distance to everything downtown. The owner was also extremely nice and helpful. I will be booking very soon for our next trip! Thank you for a great experience!
