Great location!

Unfriendly woman at the reception. Dirt around the third bed. Monotonous and poor quality breakfast.

Decent quality hotel, clean, but little old. Closer to old warehouses than Old town, but in walkable distance

We loved our stay here. All staff were soo lovely and welcoming and were easy to communicate with in English. The staff were also very helpful. The location is great, the rooms are clean and the breakfast options are the best, we ate there every morning.

Only thing is the room can get quite hot, this is more a personal preference, but it was hard to cool down on the really hot days. We are used to having air conditioning so it was an adjustment.

The nice surprise was, that there was a garage at the hotel only for 12 EUR per night. The staff was nice, breakfast is good, hotel is close to centre, to the port and other attractives.

1. The half an hour before the end of the breakfast they don't bring the new dishes and coffee, so it's better to come earlier 2. Our room was on the -1 floor, there was no elevator and was rather dark, air wasn't very clear. With two children it wasn't pleasant to care all the bagage and pushchair by stairs. Anyway I suppose, that at the other floors the situation is better

The area was fairly central, near to a train station

The noise from the building site only feet away from window woke us up very early every morning.. Booked 3 rooms and they were all very dissapointing to say the least !! The 2 single rooms were more like broom cupboards No facilities in room, i.e kettle, mini bar, Internet was absolutly rubbish in all 3 rooms that we rented and there was a problem with the key fob for opening the doors. The whole place was generally run down and first impressions were very grim.. Way too expensive for this low quality of hotel. We have family in Hamburg so visit regularly, but will NEVER stay in this hotel again.

- Communication (concerning parking reservations) before stay was one way (no reply) - hotel is a nightmare for disabled people (entrance way to steep and reception not even reachable). - don't book a 3-person bedoom as you will get a sleeping couch that not even IKEA will sell you. - almost no hot water when showering. - no possibility to cool the room (other than opening the window, which is not adviseable due to all the construction work and bell towers).
