Some more stuff in the kitchen, like a toaster and some salt, dishwashing liquid and a sponge could have helped. Certainly we could buy these in very short walking distance the first day, but the question relates to what could have been better :-)

Good location near, or near enough, beach, old town, restaurants, markets etc. Good point to start our car trips to various locations in Crete. Clean room, nice two balconies and quiet neighbourhood in the evening. Owners and staff were very friendly!

Breakfast was for sure OK (especially compared to price) but maybe there could be a little bit more different options, at least on some days...?

Perfect location, close to Rethymno, in the first line of the beach and the sea. Very friendly and helpful owners, as well as all the staff. Nice swimming pool, everything clean and in good condition. Room entrances from the outside, located far apart, so that everyone has a lot of privacy.

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at this property, it’s very clean and our apartment was spacious. The hotel owners are very hospitable and nice people. If we come back to Rethymno we will stay here again.

There were external issues with the water supply which meant we had to move. The owners not only found alternative accommodation but also helped us move. Helpful and friendly throughout the full two weeks.

I spent quite some time looking for accomodation options in Crete and I am really glad I chose to stay here. The hotel is located not too far from the old town of Rethymno, about 15-30 minutes of a pleasant walk along the beach. There are several supermarkets in the close area and countless taverns, shops, car and bike rentals and travel agencies located nearby. The room where I stayed was spacious but cozy and had a nice design, and it also had two levels, which came as a surprise! The first floor had a dining area with a kitchen corner, the second floor was a bedroom. It also had a small private terrace outside on the first floor and a balcony on the second. The entire place was very clean and well-kept, and I truly enjoyed my whole stay there. The breakfast area had enough space to sit both inside and outside and enjoy the sea view. Even though the hotel was fully booked, breakfast area and the reception were never crowded, which is definitely a good thing in these times. There is also a bar, which is a nice addition. My room had an individual entrance, which was great and it helped me to accomodate my bicycle without disturbing other guests. It was clean and the owner kindly allowed me to keep it inside the room, but if you plan to do the same ask somebody at the reception first! The people running this hotel deserve a special mention. Thanks to them I had one of the best holiday experiences in my life! When I was getting ready to travel on my own, I was a bit scared that I will be lonely on my stay, but you are never lonely in this hotel - it feels like you're in a family. It is indeed a family business and you see how much love and care they put in it, and how much they value their guests. I've met many people who had stayed in this hotel several times, and I can understand them very well. It is truly a gem you want to return to again and again.

Exceptional service, excellent location (3 mins to beach), very clean. Elias was very helpful giving some tips on dining, going around and arranging our restaurant and taxi reservations (thank you!). Espresso and cappuccino were great. A couple of days (when the towels were changed) our kids found funny characters made from the towels on their beds and they loved them :) We had a 2-bed room apt with a direct sea view. As planned, our stay was very relaxing and very pleasant.

The building has an amazing location, right on the beach. In addition, there is a swimming pool with pleasantly warm water and clean surroundings. Each entrance is so far apart that everyone can enjoy privacy. The sea view was beautiful. Staff very helpful and caring.

Size and cleanliness of the apartment was 1st class, and suit the needs of my wife and I perfectly. The location opposition the beach also exactly what we wanted.

We could not find anything to be dissatisfied about.

The hotel is a pretty island style building, and the owner is very friendly. We had an excellent and well equipped room a little withdrawn from the road and with a marvellous view of the blue sea.

The beach road is rather noisy and not very pleasant the closer you get to the centre.
