Small, comfortable and tidy compound direkly at the beach. Excellent combination of European standard and local connections. Matemwe is a quiet area with beautiful wide sandbeaches, without big party-restaurants around. Excellent restaurant with changing local seafood and good breakfast. The Owner is more than helpful in arranging high quality activities for a reasonable price, which support the surrounding nature and the local community.

The ocean view room with balcony is gorgeous. The food is superb. Nice swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stay right on the beach, with excellent food choices, lovely staff, and well kitted out rooms - a place to lock things up, ample soft towels and hot water, thoughtful touches like sarongs and woven hats for the beach, and a nice pool to relax by. I would stay again!

Not at all the fault of the hotel, but there's so much trash on the beach itself, I wish it had felt nicer to walk along it.

It was great being right on the wide, white sand beach. The atmosphere of the small hotel was easy-going and the food was so good that we didn't venture to other places to eat.

The road getting there was really a bumpy ride.
