The shower was not really hot and the pressure of the water was not too strong and radiator was off

Bedienung nur Morgens. Bedienung war ok. Frühstück war etwas wenig gewesen. Nicht meine Erwartungen erfüllt.

Personal war nicht immer da gewesen. Nur Morgens im Frühstück habe ich gewesen. Gemeinschaftstoilette mit Dusche muss nicht sein. Die Flurtreppen zu steigen für Besonders eine ältere Person wäre fast unmöglich. Eine Dusche war am Anfang dauerhaft 2 Tage nur verschlossen gewesen. Alle Hotelgäste haben 2 Toiletten und Abwechselnd nur eine Duschraum benutzt. Sogar auch Duschkabine war sehr eng. Sogar ich ein Mittelalter Jähr gängige Mensch hatte ich Schwierigkeiten gehabt von Steilen Flurtreppen bis auf oberste Etage in meine Zimmer hoch zu geben. Runtergehen ebenfalls Gefährlich. Besonders wenn mit Gepäck den Treppenhaus zu benutzen sehr eng und auch Gefährlich. Wenn jemand sich Stolpern sollte gibt es keine Rettung. Der Person wird sich schlagen und Herunterfallen in dem engen und Steilen Treppenhaus.

Close to Cathedral, comfy room, breakfast included. Excellent value for money.

Nothing to dislike.

Self check-in was a breeze and my room was available early as requested. I was unexpectedly assigned a twin room which made for ample space for a single person. While the room only had a basin, the shared shower room and separate toilet were only across the hall. The bed was comfortable and despite having a room at the front of the house with passing traffic, I did not hear this and slept soundly. I got chilly and was pleased to find additional bedding in the wardrobe, where I also found an iron and ironing board. A hairdryer was also available. I hadn't expected those in such a competitively priced option. The property is two houses that have been combined and I liked the quirky corridors and steps. Breakfast is selected the night before on wipe clean laminates indicating time and food choices. This made for efficient service the next morning. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This was my first and only encounter with staff who were all extremely polite. I would definitely stay here again.

There is no free parking nearby; however, the cost of overnight parking in the pay and display a few hundred yards away (~£8) was offset by the price paid for the room. The room decor was minimal and felt a little dated - it didn't match the period of the house - there was a lovely fireplace in the room that would be a great starting point to base the decor on. Tea and coffee making facilities were adequate but sweeteners would have been appreciated. The metal headboard was uncomfortable, but as I had a twin room there were spare pillows to pad it.

Breakfast was very good.

One shower's temperature couldn't be regulated. It was too hot to use. I had to use the other shower. Also, its a pitty that staff is not alwayy present. I couldn't leave my bag thete after checking out.
