Great location for all sights & airport (non-stop 100E airport bus stop is 5mins walk away) The flat had all amenities one could want & Sophia answered any questions we had very promptly. The only negative was the renovating building work that started at 7am! However, this is only temporary so I wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay here again.

The apt location was ideal. It was close to all attraction and the Hop On and Hop Off bus. Cafes were just around the block for your morning coffee. Kristina, the property mgr, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The apt complex is going through reconstruction so workers started at 7 am but it didn’t bother us since we are early risers. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

It did not impact our stay, but may have for those needing some quiet time during the day. It is also 93 steps up to the apartment, which we handled fine with our luggage, but some may find that challenging.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Frühstück Cafés in der Nähe. Die Haltestelle zum Flughafen Bus ist zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen. Sehr empfehlenswert

Schöne Wohnung mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, welche Mann/Frau für eine Trip nach Budapest benötigt. Check-In/-Out reibungslos und pünktlich. In der Nähe der Whg. befindet sich 24-Std. Supermarkt und direkt um die Ecke Gastronomie mit Biergarten. Wohnungsausstattung wie in Inserat beschrieben. Wohnung für einen Aufenthalt mit max. 5-6 Erwachsenen absolut zu empfehlen, auch wenn der Aufstieg der 94 Treppenstufen etwas anstrengend...

Gezellig ingericht en alles zit erop en eraan! Handig om met 5 vrouwen ook 2 badkamers te hebben... Prima centraal gelegen app.complex. Mooie oude stijl.

Die Wohnung hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen (Schnitt, Helligkeit, Einrichtung, 2 Bäder waren auch praktisch ...). Sie ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Budapest zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden. Wäre gern länger geblieben.

Wir haben als Familie eine gute Woche zu viert in der Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral, in einer ruhigen Strasse und die Fenster gehen auf den Innenhof. Sie ist bestens ausgestattet mit allem: ausreichend Toiletten und Badezimmer (auch für 6 Personen), in der Küche kann man wunderbar kochen und im Wohnzimmer hat jeder bequem Platz am großen Esstisch, auf dem Sofa oder in den Sesseln. Die Vermieterin hat die Wohnung sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet, wir haben nichts vermißt. Ganz besonderen Dank dafür, dass Grundnahrungsmittel wie Salz, Zucker, Öl, Essig, Gewürze, Tee, Kaffe (von den Vormietern) noch in der Wohnung waren und wir nicht alles kaufen mussten (wie das sehr oft der Fall ist) ebenso wie Wasch- und Spülmittel. Wir alle waren restlos begeistert. Läden, Restauarants, öffentlicher Verkehr sind in unmittelbare Nähe, auch der Bus zum Flughafen (100E) ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

The apartment is very well maintained, clean, and in a quite building. The location and proximity to walking distances from main attraction and touristic points is a bonus as well. All appliances, TV, and WIFI worked great. Note: Just be aware that the floors are high and no elevator.

The interiors are beautiful, fresh, bright, airy, clean, and comfortable. The exterior of the building threw us off at first, but it is a safe neighborhood and the apartment is just perfect. We were able to walk to many places from there, and the owner Sophie took time to sit with us and give us detailed restaurant recommendations. This might sound silly, but having travelled so much, we are used to terrible shower set ups... we were SO happy with Sophie's shower. It was clean and the water pressure/temperature were amazing.

Excellent service and communication before and during the stay. The renter organized a taxi pickup from the airport for us (€25 one way), which I would recommend for first-time visitors. The apartment is in a great location, five minutes on foot from Kalvin Ter and 10 minutes from the Great Market Hall or the Cafe Central. Still it's absolutely quiet and well-lit because it's in an inner courtyard on the 3rd (=top) floor. Everything was as described, clean, spacious and comfortable for the four of us. The wifi is faster than ours at home! The high ceilings and double doors create a nice open atmosphere. Grocery stores with tourist-friendly hours are nearby, and just around the corner is Krudy utca with its cafes and bistros. On our second-to-last day, we rented bikes and regretted not having done it sooner. Yellow Zebra on Kazinczy utca is a good place to rent them. In October 2013 they had just started with a fleet of new bikes and were very flexible and nice. Would definitely recommend this apartment for adults w older children (no elevator, so you get some cardio in during your stay) and will look at this one for our next visit too. I have enjoyed my stay at Sophie´s apartment. The building is a typical old fashioned Budapest house. The apartment itself is very beautiful, very comfortable, very light and spotless clean. Its like on the pictures. I especially loved the beautiful big double doors inside. There is no noise coming in the flat, its absolutely quiet. Its located centrally, everything is close by, good restaurants, supermarkets too. Sophie is very nice and helpful, explained everything she also has lots of recommendations about the town. Definitely going to return.

We stayed 5 days in Sophia's apartment. It's a very nice, warm en spacious apartment. Sophia has made it very cosy and the decorations are beautiful. It has also everything you need for a comfortable stay. We felt really at home! There is no noise in and arround the apartment so you can sleep very good. It's very close to shops and supermarkets (Spar and Coop) and the places of interest and sights. You can do everything by foot if you like. If we ever plan another visit to Boedapest i would love to go back to Sophia's apartment. Maja

The apartment is completely renewed, comfortable, charming and well-finished. Two big sleeping rooms and two bathrooms, one big living room and a kitchen. The main caracteristic is the light that gives the apartment a fascinating feeling you will take back home. The apartment was very clean and full furnished. The owner is very kind and helpful.

This 3rd floor walk-up, lovely apartment in the heart of the city is perfect for couples or friends traveling together. The bedrooms are separated by a well-equipped kitchen and a very nicely decorated combined dining and living space. One bedroom has a private bathroom. The beds are much more comfortable than most hotels, and the apartment itself exudes charm. The apartment's location could not be more perfect: steps away from thriving city life and the Danube, yet in a very quiet neighborhood behind the National Museum. The owner, Sophie, was incredibly attentive and accommodating; she even organized a taxi to the train station for us when we indicated we would find our own transportation! HIGHLY recommended!
