Everything And Everyone : We adore the whole place
We liked it all

The breakfast was excellent, as were the meals we had at the two restaurants and also the restaurant service. The views from the restaurants were pretty.
The view from our room was beautiful, but the room was a a bit small.
The staff was in general very attentive, helpful and professional. Only at the checkout the personnel was rather haughty and not very efficient.

Fantastic location and view.
The various outdoor terrasses are extremely pleasant.
The staff is not always experienced but very nice and helpful.
We had booked a junior suite with sea view. On arrival we were supposedly upgraded to a room with terrasse. it turned out to be a smaller room, with a tiny balcony and a terrasse you access from outside stairs and overlooking the noisy back street (512). A joke! we didn’t appreciate at all the selling story “it’s a great surprise to give you a super upgrade”. After repeatedly insisting on having the room we had initially booked, and not forced into false upgrade, we had to wait for another 2h (till 7pm) to get the right room, as it had to be cleaned. It was great, spacious, with fantastic view and direct access to one of the swimming pool (505). Unfortunately there was a disturbing gutter smell coming out from the bathroom… that couldn’t be solved during our 3 days stay, despite several remarks to the front desk.

Overall outstanding, but the main restaurant is significantly below par compared to the rest of the establishment.
Apart from an excellent breakfast, the food was not up to standard.

Very helpful staff at the reception, beautiful breakfast, luxurious room. Location and view are world class.
The rooms are not very sheltered from noises in the corridor.

If you are looking for the most relaxing experience in Cassis, do not look anywhere else. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff take impeccable care of your needs and the property itself has a lovely swimming pool and private access to a swimming landing. From housekeeping to concierge, we felt welcome the whole time. I could finally take a breath and relax!

Staff were lovely - special mentions go to James on reception and all the concierge staff who were extremely helpful. Lovely situation with stunning views and great facilities, but ....see below
Food was not good. On the breakfast, the scrambled eggs and cooked vegetables were not hot and items ran out and were not promptly replaced. The only dinner we had in the restaurant was very disappointing - two of us had the chicken which had to be sent back twice because it was not hot, and even when it came back the second time it was barely warm enough.
At the prices charged this is just unacceptable.

A truly stunning property. Walking distance to town but the staff was always so happy to drive us in on the little electric vehicles. Matteo the concierge was just outstanding either recommendations and reservations.

location is heavenly and staff super friendly and charming
access to the sea view only possible via an uncomfortable ladder - this should be improved

breakfast was great and location is really fabulous -- wonderful views, walkable to town and beaches if you care to go.
I didn't think the hotel and service was up to snuff for the very high price. The AC in my room barely worked the first night and had to be fixed (better 2nd night). There was a hole in my bed sheet. I had no bottles of "bedside" water the first night, but did the second night (would have appreciated them both nights). The staff was so-so on the helpful and friendliness factor (a few were great).

Everything! Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view in an adorable town in the south of France. The staff was so lovely and nice. A shuttle is available to take you down to the harbor, which is nice. The rooms were comfortable and we were upgraded to a ro with a sea view/balcony just because. The day beds/lounge chairs are comfortable and are at no extra charge. The 2 infinity pools are amazing. I will 100% stay at this hotel again in the future, I didn't want to leave. The buffet breakfast that's included has a lot of variety and is delicious. I don't have enough good things to say about this hotel.
The only small issue we had was that something came dislodged from the drain in the shower that created a bad smell for an evening. The staff was very accommodating to try to help us and they were able to partially solve the problem by fixing that the next morning. We were told that the remaining musty smell was in part an issue of intermittent thunderstorms and the plumbing in a building in a small town. There was never an offer to chang ine rooms to address the problem, despite 3-4 phone calls about the same issue, so that was the one hiccup we had.

The views from the hotel were stunning; lovely setting for the pool
The room was poor with no storage space and very little privacy (a glass door on to a well-used walkway). There was no service at the pool and service in the restaurant was very slow.

We came on our honeymoon. We had the most magical week. The scenery is breathtaking, the staff are a delight and the local town is easily and quickly accessible and has great restaurants and bars. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

The staff were lovely, helpful & friendly but it was tricky in a few locations to get served - they didn’t appear to be covered.
Even though we paid for the cheapest room, thinking that we wouldn’t be in it much, it was exceptionally small. In retrospect, not a good idea.

Wonderful views, lovely pool area, the shuttle car to the town works really well as does the valet parking, the breakfast selections.
Unless you are fortunate enough to get one of the three tables in the shade for breakfast then you have to endure the heat and brilliant sunshine. There is a covered area but this is kept for the staff and generous service area. One guest moved a table into the covered area and had the language skills to defend his position from numerous entreaties to return to the “view”
One our second morning I sat inside and managed to decline offers to move to the “view”. I ordered a cafe latte, it was served in a long tall slim glass with a straw. I declined, my next was good sized cup of warm milk slightly coffee coloured. I then asked for a large black coffee with milk on the side. The coffee served was an expresso in the traditional small cup full with a jug of milk that towered over the expresso. My last serving was an expresso amount in a cup with the milk jug which I did not drink. When I left I was very kindly advised that in France when ordering coffee you need to describe how you wish your coffee made and how you wish it to be served as coffee means different things to different people. This is absolutely true. I question the latte in a slim glass with straw, apparently this is the French way. I have visited France almost annually since 2015 for several months at a time visiting a range of major centres and to many to count small villages and towns. It would seem that I have never been served a latte correctly which is sad. I had a range of interesting coffees over the remaining three days and on our last day got the tall slim glass latte with straw, point made and well played.
A minor point, our room floor was marked, veranda chairs moved into the room to evade the heat and several black wear marks, this is not the norm for a five star hotel, even in France, unless the others are doing this incorrectly as well.
