Our visit was short but wonderful. The host was the sweetest and so accommodating. My whole family loved her. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The most amazing thing was the incredible garden. We would highly recommend Villa Mimi.

This place is a hidden paradise! We absolutely love everything: super friendly staff, comfortable rooms, awesome breakfast, great location, safe parking and an outstanding garden/common space.

Rosa and her daughter Gabriela have been fantastic with us and did everything to please us. They even provided transport to Otavalo and helped in every way for things like finding an ATM in town. The service includes a nice breakfast and you can have dinner within this nice hotel the rooms of which are situated around a courtyard and a beautiful garden. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Rosa will bring you a bouillotte with wat water to warm your feet during the night. There is also a jacuzzi offering relaxation at any time of the day.

The premises are very tastefully built and situated like an oasis in the middle of a rather uninspiring area. Unfortunately we need to say that the quality of sleep is very poor here. There was very loud music from 6 am from nearby churches in a Sunday morning and gun shootings till very late. The location was also rather difficult to reach even by taxi so it is best to call ahead Rosa to give instructions to the driver.
