L' équipement de la chambre, le petit déjeuner est fantastique!
Il n y a pas de volet sur les fenêtres, le rideau est insuffisant sur les fenêtres le matin, la lumière du jour m'a réveillé. Il faudrait mettre de vrais rideaux obscurcissant sur les fenêtres sur la mezzanine ou des volets.

L'accueil des propriétaires et du personnel, la petite structure de 6 chambres, la convivialité au petit dejeuner (on mange sur une même grande table et on se rapproche des autres clients), le petit déjeuner où tout est fait maison, l'emplacement avec une vue directement sur le port et juste à côté des taxis boats qui partent vers les plages, la propreté des lieux, l'ambiance en général.

Emplacement idéal avec vue directe sur le port. Accueil chaleureux, personnalisé, petit déjeuner très bon préparé sous vos yeux.

What a lovely room!! and superb location. The stone wall and architectural quirks were full of local art work. you can tell it’s a family business that truly care about their guests… The balcony was the perfect place to sit and be amongst the busy Harbour working port, watching the donkeys go by, and as bed was tucked away up stairs offering rest - a perfect combinations of “busy” and “peaceful” easily found.
From Sofia we walked to Mt Eros - caught taxi
boats right outside the window - mooched around the cobbles and felt we had a home from home,
in the centre of it all!!
breakfast was lovely, homemade and non fussy with local dishes!! all guests sitting together on one large table - with interesting morning conversation.
A 3 night stay here was a real
window into Hydra…… if you want to be at the heart of it all - Sofia is waiting for you to call…..

הצוות היה מוכן להאזין לכל בקשה והמנהלת שספרה בחפץ חב על המסורת בת הארבעה דורות נתנו הרגשה היתית וחמה. . ארוחת הבוקר היתה הכי מפנקת שיש וגם ההסכמה לארח אותנו מעבר לזמנים הצביעו על נדיבות יתרה. ממליצים ובשמחה נחזור לשם
הידר אמנם מעט קטן לשניים אך המיקום והשירות חיפו על כך..

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Sophia, the owners and the staff were wonderful and made me feel very welcome and helped me with any questions I had. The location is just perfect, the rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast is just next level good. I’ll definitely come back!

An extraordinary gem on the harbour front overlooking the port. Some rooms have small balconies, but are also totally sound proof. Air conditioning is very good indeed. Very, very clean family run hotel. Lovely sheets and pillows. Nothing bad to say as we were greeted with such warmth and this lasted throughout our stay. Breakfast is exceptional!

The location couldn't be better - right in in the lovely port, surrounded by shops and restaurant. Even though I had a back view room, I had an access to a lovelly balcony above the port. The staff was super helpful and nice, room comfortable. and what more - I had to leave early in the morning, so they in the evening I had a bag with breakfast ready :-)

This Hotel was fantastic; the perfect hotel for a a Greek island getaway. The Hotel is owned by a local family and they treated us as family upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of local meats, cheeses, omlets and pastries. I was particularly impressed by the variety of homemade jams. The Hotel allows customers to take breakfast on the balconies in their rooms. Enjoying our delicious breakfast while overlooking donkeys and villagers unload at the harbor was a highlight of our stay in Hydra. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This is a very special Bed and Breakfast you don't find very often. The owners are lovely people who run this beautiful place with love and passion. They were so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are to a very high standard and the location in Hydra is perfect.

This place was our favorite of all during one month of travel. So quaint. The ladies there were amazing to talk to and made amazing breakfasts. We had to check out early morning and they provided a to go breakfast. Just exceptional!

We loved everything about Hotel Sophia. In particular, we adored the owner, Angela. She could not have been nicer or more helpful. We were very lucky to meet her and get to learn about her life on Hydra.
There is nothing we would ask to improve.

I was just there for one night, but I arrived early in the morning and they held my bags and also made me breakfast, even though I was not yet a paying customer. Throughout, they were super helpful, and after I checked out and was waiting for the ferry, they let me use the facility and porch and lent me a beach towel.

This was the 28th European hotel I've stayed at on this trip, and it was the best. Exceptional quayside location, fabulous room, super helpful family, and breakfasts cooked with fresh local ingredients and lots of love. Bravo

We stayed for three nights. The location is excellent and even though the hotel is adjacent to the harbour there was no issue with noise (the harbour itself is very quiet as there are no cars).
Staff were very kind and helpful. I left my watch there and they informed me plus arranged to have it sent to us in Pireaus!
The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and homemade food prepared by the staff. I was encouraged to eat lots and was glad to!
Overall, a wonderful stay and we will be coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Sophia, everything about it was wonderful. We can only echo what previous reviewers have said... the owners, the staff, the building, the location, the breakfast... all completely perfect! We would go back in a heartbeat!

Loved the location on the wharf. We could sit on balcony for hours watching the world go by.
The owners and staff were wonderful. Breakfasts were great and varied.
It has near the monastery and the church bells were loud from early in the morning. Noise from wharf also noisy, but not with doors closed and aircon on.
