Had a great 10 night family stay. Mikel is really helpful and was on hand when we arrived to give us a little tour of the area and even took us to the supermarket for us to do a bit of shopping. The accommodation is lovely with 3 double rooms and 3 bathrooms and the pool is great. Location is ideal. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest bars and restaurants and then maybe a further 20 minutes to get round the coast to a slightly busier part of Torrevieja. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Trevligt och gemytligt litet hus med mysig terass och skön pool. Hyresvärden Mikel var väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig, erbjöd bl.a. skjuts till affären vid incheckningen.

We have recently returned from a week’s stay in the villa. There were 3 adults and 3 children aged 2, 4 and 7. The pool was great for the children, the older two spent hours each day playing in it and it was perfect for our two year old as the gate round the pool can be shut. The villa is very well equipped, lots of towels provided and it’s very clean. Mikel is a great host, very responsive and any questions are answered super quick. The villa is in a residential location which is removed from the built up front of the beach area however it’s only a 20 minute walk, probably quicker without children and all the paraphernalia that comes with them. We had a lovely time, the weather was beautiful and we hope to be back soon, thanks Mikel 😀

We Booked Miguel's Villa for a month, as we wanted to see what torrevieja was like. Miguel was there to greet us on our arrival, and to give us all the information we needed. The villa was beautiful, very comfortable and we absolutely loved it, it had all the amenities you could wish for with great wifi and UK tv channels if you wished. Miguel popped in to keep the pool spotless, which was warm and we used it a lot (everyday). the villa is in a very convenient location, which we wanted so we could explore this area of the costa blanca, the beach was 10 min walk away with some bars and restaurants dotted around. all in all we had a fantastic time here and would definatley stay again. Thanks to Miguel and his family once again for a wonderful time.

Nous avons passés 10 jours à la villa "DAR SAIOA". Nous avons été très ravis de notre séjour. La maison est idéalement située, à 10 minutes à pieds des plages et des commerces tout en étant dans un quartier très calme. Tous les équipements sont conformes aux descriptifs. Ce que nous avons appréciés par dessus tout, c'est la terrasse avec son barbecue et surtout LA PISCINE. Quant au propriétaire, Mikel, il est très sympa et à l'écoute. Il a été très réactif face à nos différentes questions. Nous y retournerons très certainement. Laurent L.

We were a group of 6 girls aged 21-23 staying here for 7 nights. The villa had everything we needed; spacious bedrooms with ensuites, air conditioning in each room, a wonderful upstairs lounging area for card games and of course the pool in which we spent most of our time when at the villa (pool floats were provided and we were allowed to borrow good quality speakers)! We made use of the BBQ on our final evening which was also good fun. Mikel was a fantastic host, he met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the villa and showed us places on the map. He walked with us to the nearest supermarket so we could buy goodies to stock up the fridge as soon as possible! We kept in contact with him on whatsapp, and his replies were very efficient so we were never left in the dark about anything. The villa is spacious and homely and in a great location- just a 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket, and the bus stops which were 1.35euros for a single trip each time. We also used taxis a fair amount, for example when we visited the pink salt lake! However, in the evenings we enjoyed walking to the marina and promenade, discovering lovely restaurants where we could sit outside with a glass of wine admiring the sunset. A particular favourite was 'Muelle' (we ate at 10.30pm!!). All in all it was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend this place to stay!

Acabamos de pasar unos días maravillosos en Dar Saioa,todo muy limpio,acogedor y amplio.La piscina una gozada,con sus hamacas y la terraza con su barbacoa una maravilla para hacer comidas.Mikel y su mujer son un encanto ,han sido unas vacaciones perfectas para repetir, gracias por todo ,volveremos seguro !!!!

We had a lovely week in this house. We were a family of seven, 5 adults and 2 kids. The house had everything we needed - and the kids just loved the pool and we enjoyed using the barbecue spot in the evenings. For a nice day at the beach, we would recommend you to go to the beach in La Mata, it's just a short bus ride away (and also possible to walk if you're up for that). The bus stop (bus A2) is close to the house. Miguel is the perfect host, he welcomed us when we arrived and was very helpful at all times - from the day we booked the house until we left and flew back home. Thank you!

The villa was perfect for our holiday, walking distance to all the amenities and the beach yet private and quite enought to relax. The pool was well maintained by Mikel who was the perfect host, polite helpful and a nice bloke. The villa was well equiped and very clean and would highly recomend. Paul And Carol , Lincolnshire.

Stayed for 10 days in May. Property very clean, needs a little refurb in a few places but nice quiet area, easy parking, 10 mins walk to beach, 30 mins walk to nice restaurants...El Muello was our favourite place to eat. Couple of lively'ish bars walking distance but in general it was a pretty quiet area. We used a hire car to get about (recommended, especially for the food/water shop!) but taxis are easy to get...same price as the UK. Self drive small boat was fun, hired from Zodiac Boats, Torrevieja. 3 very robust cockroaches visited us in the property which was not nice....I guess you have to expect bugs in a hot country? Overall though, an enjoyable holiday.

We arrived late on Sunday night, which didn't present the owner Miguel with a problem. He was there to meet us with a friendly smile and a warm handshake. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, what a great place to relax after the stresses and strains of organising a wedding and working full time right up until the special day. The villa is as described and well equipment, a real gem and definite home from home. Miguel visited the Villa a couple of times during our stay to clean the pool and make sure everything was ok. he joked that he didn't think we were living there because we were out exploring the area and enjoying all that Torreveija and its surrounding area offers. The location is great, surroundings idyllic. Our favorite and a place we would highly recommend anyone to visit (Cartagena) is about 60Kms away. Green Parakeets, Martins, Starlings, and cicada all adding to the ambiance in this little oasis in a bustling but friendly town. We even had dragonflies and a one of visit from a Deaths Head Moth. Definite recommendation to any traveller to stay here. Great host, great property and great location. Thanks Miguel

My wife, son, daughter, son In law, grandson, and myself spent the week here to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. We could not have chosen a better place. The place is everything that the advertisement claims and more. For us it was idyllic. My family spent so much time in the pool it is a wonder that they did not develop Gills and Fins. With the climate, Cicadas, Green Parakeets and abundance of Palm trees their is a real sub tropical feel to the place. Especially at sundown. The sea front and beach are a leisurely ten minute stroll away, as are a good selection of bars and eating places. A slightly longer distance away is the main shopping area. Torrevieja has a very calm, laid back feel to it, and is the only foreign place I think that I could happily live permanently. As for the houses owner, Miguel. You will not meet a more friendly, obliging, gregarious host than this man. We have never been made to feel more welcome anywhere. If you want a really relaxing get away, in very comfortable surroundings, with complete autonomy, you will not find better. Book with confidence.

We spent a nice sunny October week in Miquels house with grandparents, parents and two teenagers. House was even better that stated in the listing. Upstairs bedroom and lounge was spacious and a perfect place to stay for our teenagers. Also a nice suprise was that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The house was well located. Near the beach and a nice walk from the town. Since we had warm and sunny weather we enjoyed a lot of the all day sunny patio and the pool. The only minus was that the house did not have a dishwasher since we love cooking even on holidays. Miquel was a perfect host. I can recomment this house to everyone who is loking for a reasonably prised house with good facilities and location.

We just spent a wonderful month in Mikels house in Torrevieja. Mikel is a fantastic host. We had a great time with him and meet many wonderful people. He is very supportive, open and welcoming. The house is nice, open and roomy. The swimming pool a perfect addition to enjoy in the hot sun. We will definitely check with Mikel for a place to stay when we return to Torrevieja. Highly recommended.

Our holiday was really successful. Thanks are due to Miguel!! He can be trusted and has a friendly and helpful host. He ordered us a beautiful weather too... Two weeks went too quickly. The area where the house is, it is quiet and clean. The sea is not far. Also stores and food market are pretty close. We rent a car. We went to the safari aitana and in the beautiful mountain village. (Guadalest). And the beach playa la mota, near san pedro del pinatar. This is place where you should visit. There you can swim really salt water. And i must tell two good restaurant: Spain restaurant Patio andaluz and restaurant pinocchio near in the house. We found everything what we need, from the house. The pool was lovely. Children swim 24/7 :). We all six people( two family) recommend this place, if you want to enjoy your vacation. We come here again!!

We have spent eight wonderful weeks in Mikels and Marisa house at the Plaza de los Halcones in Torrevieja. Large and spacious, nicely decorated in part Moroccan style, comfortable large beds, TV with lots of channels, DVD, stereo, computer, wi-fi etc. Not often you rent a house like this: fresh, modern, comfortable and well-furnished, on the Costa Blanca. Quiet and secluded location at the nice park. December and January offered summer heat and one sunny day after another. Sun beds on the south-facing and sheltered patio came in handy. There was even a dip in the pool, although the water was a little cold... A nicer and more socially extroverted landlord you may be looking a long time for. Mikel speaks both Spanish, English and French and he really makes you feel welcome. We will come back here, Mikel. As often as we can!
