Incantevole, antica villa del XVI secolo con piscina privada. Bella antico, Toscana Villa en un luogo incantevole tra le colline ricoperte di vigneti 10 minuti di auto da Lucca. I grandi cancelli in ferro battuto danno l'ingresso in a proprietà che è circondato da vecchi muri in pietra e incantevoli giardini privati. Vi es una gran piscina di reciente costruzione da prati e giardini fioriti. La villa es completamente ristrutturata con gran gusto e originalidad pur essendo il vecchio pavimento en cotto, affascinanti soffitti en legno y camino antico. Amplio y confortevole salone d'ingresso con camino, un piccolo salotto con la televisione con posibilità di aggiungere un letto singolo o matrimoniale 2 posti letto e una gran sala da pranzo

This is an outstanding property! And we had a fabulous two week stay with 5 people. First, the hosts Silvia and Paolo are truly lovely and welcoming. Gracious and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and answer any questions. The villa is huge and sparkling clean. It was built in about the 15th century but is thoroughly modernized. The well-equipped kitchen was the center of our activity. The hosts thoughtfully provided great pantry staples. We loved the huge kitchen table so much we never used the equally huge dining room. We also loved the outdoor dining table and pool chairs. Silvia provided plenty of towels and pool towels for our use. The washer, dryer and drying racks were perfect for our long stay. The location is great. Beautiful, quiet, and close to groceries, a couple of restaurants, and Lucca. We visited Pisa, Portofino, Siena, and many of the centuries-old villas north of Lucca. Lots to see in and around Lucca. I can’t recommend this stay enough!

The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. Sitting in the outdoor dining area with the beautiful view of the lit up pool and the hills beyond was heaven. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our last evening we had a great meal at Bimbotto’s in Vorno, walking distance from the house. The aircon in the bedrooms was quiet and excellent. We hope to return next year. Thank you for everything!

Myself and 8 friends have just returned from a suberb holiday in this beautiful villa . Way beyond our expectations ,simply stunning ! The garden area and pool was authentic ,and vast ,with a magnificent stream ,flowing at the back . Lemon trees and plants in abundance , to pick for our drinks and cooking ! The interior was typical of the area , spacious bedrooms and bathrooms . Lovely lounge area . And the kitchen was a large well equipped Tuscan layout , Which we took full advantage to use , mainly eating outside in the Al fresco dining area . Silvia was a lovely friendly lady , on hand should we need her . She was very helpful in organising her friend Hilde to pick us up at the airport ,who also took us to a large supermarket on arrival ,as we didn't have transport . Hilde also took us to a lovely evening of wine tasting , eating and dancing in nearby montecarlo . Silvia Also arranged for chefs one evening to come and cook for us at the villa ( Yvonne and Tiberius ) it was absolutely wonderful ! Beautiful food and so friendly . Well recommended. We had no problem walking to the small village of Vorno approximately 15minutes.there is a restaurant "A Bimbotto " absolutely superb , we ate there twice during our stay . There is also a small butcher that sells general provisions ,and a bus stop , taking you into Lucca ,20minutes away . from there you can get the train to Florence . To sum it up we had a fantastic holiday in beautiful Tuscany , which will have a special place in our hearts , thank you Silvia for our wonderful Tuscan experience in your magnificent villa ......well recommended ,and we will return !
