Spacious terrace with many places to sit and a nice garden. comfortable bed and nice decorations in the house. Good bathroom with shower. good and quick contact with the host. own parking place on the property.

Little space in the kitchen to prepare meals, quite old and damaged closets. It was cold during the rainy days as a/c needed ling time to start warming up.

tidiness, kitchen (particularly fridge), shower a bit run down and wobbly, only one roll of toilet paper to start is a bit little for a family, trash cans outside too full and lots of empty bottles standing g around

A fun cottage with lots of quirky artwork and a nice garden. It all has an artsy/hippy, feel which we enjoyed. We didn't meet the owners - key is in a lockbox - but I'd hazard a guess that one or both are artists. The house is fully of little things that make you smile. The location is great - one of the closest places to the volcano national park, I think.

Compared to other lovely places we stayed in Réunion (5 different places), I felt it was a little bit overpriced at €118 per night. Then again, it's a quite big cottage that can sleep four; there were only two of us. Also, it was sunny every morning, but by around midday every day the whole area (Plaine de Cafres) became enveloped in mist/fog. The altitude is maybe 1400m (?) and we found it rather cold once the mist came one, I'd guess around 15C or below. We were only there for 3 nights, so we may just have hit some cold cloudy weather, or it may be a seasonal thing. Bring a layer of warm clothing and you'll be fine.
