de inricvhting van het appartement was prachtig en in de keuken was alles aanwezig om ter plaatse te koken. Verder was het een zeer rustig gebouw en was het zeer gemakkelijk te bereiken.

Het is gelegen langs een drukke baan, waar ook veel vrachtverkeer langs komt. Gelukkig rijden alle auto's daar zeer rustig.

The flat was indeed big enough to welcome 4 peoples, so more than enough for us two. We used the terrace as another room during the day, as it is very big and with a view on on the lake, the promenade around the lake... The bed in the bedroom is big (1.8 by 2 m) and very comfortable. Location is 5 minutes walk from the busy (with shops and restaurants) streets of Gerardmer, 100 metres from the nearest beach to have a dip in the lake, and with a very important private parking place. We were welcomed on time, and with 'mirabelles' :)

Not much to say... some extra plates and cutlery may be a good idea, so that the washing machine is not used half empty. A glove for the oven would help (I think it was only forgotten at the owner place).

The position overlooking the lake was excellent in particular because there is a covered terrace where you can comfortably sit , eat and enjoy the view.The gîte is very spacious.Parking ok.The bed comfortable.

The gîte is perfect for 2 adults or with a young child.The settee in the large room is ok for sleeping 2 more persons but there is no privacy as you have to go into the room to go to the toilet at night. Had to pay an additional city tax of 6.60 euros which is the norm but a charge of £6 for city tax is also included on the booking form although probably not charged.It is confusing in particular when the price is given in both currencies.You don’t know whether the tax has been charged or not in advance.Best not to mention it if you pay direct to the owner.

Everything ! The location, the hosts , just a short walk to the center, an amazing view, ideal for a holiday in Gerardmer 😉
