Beds were like sleeping on a wire fence. No exaggeration- have to book for physiotherapy when get home. Apartment is Badly designed - you have to dislocate your arm to reach the toilet roll when you’re done! Not equipped for self catering as advertised. 2 double beds are upstairs - the twin is downstairs- very unsettling when you have a family. You want your children on the same floor as you. My parents had to sleep uncomfortably in the twin room downstairs and the kids slept in the double upstairs next to us. It’s little things like that - makes you feel you have to manage when you work all year for one comfortable escape. Making breakfast was an ordeal. One large duchie bowl, about 3 cups, three glasses for 6 people. Had to be for a parasol outside. No toaster, used the oven grill so went over the electric allowance and had to pay further charge. They acknowledged that they were at fault so paid half of the extra charge. Wasn’t worth the argument. Hot water wasn’t working - we had cold showers for a week. Customer service at the office was cold, uninviting and detached. They need to visit other resorts to see how it’s done. Send your staff to Almond Hotel in Lapta just to learn how to talk to customers in a warm and friendly way. Poor communication, false advertising. Things go wrong - that’s never an issue - it’s about how you support your customers in these instances and make them feel that they are not a problem.
