We had an amazing girls trip at this beach cottage. Only a couple blocks from the beach, we were able to get to the pier and restaurants in just 10 minutes. The house was clean and fit four of us perfectly using the sofa bed. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The garage was available to use for parking but is very steep as it is under the house. Easy to use once we got the hang of it. We would definitely stay here again!

Home was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Location was easily walkable to the beach and pier. We were there for an event in Huntington Beach and gave us easy access in and out. Would definitely stay there again!

The unit was immaculate upon arrival (props to the cleaning staff!) and is conveniently located near the beach, restaurants and grocery store. We loved being able to open up the living room into the patio. Scott was very prompt in responding to our emails. What a great spot for a family vacay!

This beach rental was absolutely fantastic. Loved how close it was to the beach, bars, restaurants, shopping, and nail salon. We especially liked how the whole sliding glass door opens up to the patio so you’re not consistently opening and closing a door. The rental has been updated and was done beautifully. We will definitely be renting this one again for our next beach vacation.

The property and location was perfect! Low traffic street-easy walk to beach, restaurants, market. The property was beautiful-loved the open patio! Privacy with the plantings was perfect. Fun for cooking-open to living room and patio. Very clean and good communication.

This stay was booked last minute as we were supposed to be going to Maui. Despite it not being Hawaii, we were extremely satisfied with the house, the amenities and its proximity to the beach. The neighborhood felt very safe and we were able to walk to everywhere we went. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and the grocery store is literally at the end of the street. Would recommend this location and home.

Wonderful place in a perfect location for a beach getaway. Nice home overall. Needs some personal touches. Pots and pans were really bad and beds uncomfortable. the house was not thoroughly cleaned (hence toenails on dresser, outside table and patio not clean).

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for ! Beautiful place great location everything you need . A warning on the garage parking . Maneuvering in the small space with an insanely steep slope is not for the faint of heart. Only a small to midsize car has a chance of making it in with room for the other units vehicle and curbside parking in the neighborhood is practically non existent so keep that in mind. Otherwise a fantastic place !

Excellent location, modern property with top-notch decor and amenities. Our go-to property when staying in Newport Beach. Scott was excellent, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great rental.

Our family was visiting our son who was playing in a college hockey tournament and wanted to have a convenient location to games and to beach. This house was absolutely perfect. 2 1/2 blocks to beach, shopping same distance and in great neighborhood! We stayed a week and could’ve stayed a year.
Scott (property manager) was incredibly responsive to our couple questions and house was in great condition.
I’d highly recommend this house to a smaller family of group (3-4 people at most).

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised, photos were an accurate depiction. The layout of the property was perfect for our family. Neighborhood was super safe - quick walk to beach and nice little park if you walk just around a couple of corners. We easily walked to restaurants/grocery store but it was quiet and off the main roads.
We found the amenities to be sufficient, although some of the cookware (pots/pans) have seen better days. Beds were comfortable and rooms cozy. The updated bathrooms and kitchen are a nice clean touch. We enjoyed using the fireplace for ambience at night and lounging on the sofa.
I will agree that the driveway in the garage is incredibly steep, we opted for street parking instead since we visited in off peak season. Will also agree with another review that the floors were fairly dirty upon arrival, I did a quick vacuum when we got there and all was good again. Had a couple questions upon check in/arrival and Scott was quick to respond and very helpful.
Would certainly stay here again anytime and recommend to anyone looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable beach experience!

Property owner/manager very responsive to our request for wine glasses and brought them right over (simply cannot drink a fine California cab sav out of a plastic cup!). Some areas of the rental are starting to look worn and/or need replaced ie: patio furniture, gas grill, mattress pad for sleeper sofa. The furniture in the living area was on the cheap side and not comfortable at all. Direct TV connection mostly sketchy. However, the beach location and nearby amenities were outstanding and the garage was handy for parking. The patio doors that open the width of the home are a great addition.

For a group of 2 couples it was perfect, we absolutely loved the outdoor space! The location was perfect, walkable to the store, some restaurants and to the beach. The house was exactly as described and great communication with the property manager.
The parking situation is no joke, there is street parking, but it fills up very quickly and there is one spot in the garage, on a very steep decline.

It’s a little tricky to get in but we were able to get our CR-V in no problem. Great patio area. Main negative is that I’ve never had to pay extra for AC before but it’s worth it as the house definitely gets hot. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

Location is perfect…walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store! Property is immaculately maintained. Pictures are an accurate representation. Great place for family stay! Highly recommend paying the extra for the air conditioning if going in August…such a great feature!!

The bikes in the garage were locked up and the one that wasn’t had a flat. All in all it was good just did not plan on going to laundromat during stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful. We had everything we needed for our week. We loved hanging out on the front patio. Easy walk to the beach which was fantastic. Highly recommend this property.

Where do I begin !!! The property is dreamy and so centrally located , walking distance to pavilions and having the bay so near as well as blocks to the beach was ideal! Besides the house being so gorgeous, the true star is Scott Cearpenter, the property manager. So gracious , professional and courteous throughout the stay and immediate returns on all communications helped. Having a bottle of white Chardonnay and a welcome card with chocolates wowed me for sure. Thanks for allowing me to make great memories without a glitch 100 percent booking this house again soon.
