We were vising Dario the Butcher and didn't want to drive after so we stayed here. It was a really short walk down the street to the restaurant. The town is small, and this place is really nice with a great view. However, I wouldn't spend a lot of days here.

The bathroom was small and cramped. But everything worked and it was really clean.

Mario and the staff were very nice and welcoming. super disposal with suggestions and ready to help. beautiful view over the Chianti hills. family and cozy environment

I had read reviews and was a little apprehensive beforehand, but needn't have worried. Yes, the room was in Mario's house right next to his kitchen and there was no tea/coffee making facility in the room, but the room was clean, the bed comfy and the plumbing and wifi worked. More importantly than that, Mario and his wife were kindness itself. The accommodation was central and close to a number of cafes/restaurants. The traffic noise from the adjoining main road was a bit intrusive but the nights were quiet enough to sleep.

I would have liked to be able to make a cup of tea, but then I am British!
