First of all, Maria is such a nice host. The place is nice and modern with a comfortable bed and a nice balcony. It was daily cleaned. Very nice place, close to AB supermarket and the beach.

The bus from Heraklion (where I've landed) takes a little bit of time until reaching Rethymno (about an hour and a half).

Loved the area. Nice and quiet. Swimming pool was always clean and quiet. Staff were so lovely. Maria was the perfect host. 🥰

The balcony view could have been nicer.

Pool wasnt clean enough, did not use due to large no. of flies etc on the water surface, believe it had insufficient level of water so the filtration system was not effective

Nice hotel in a quiet location. Was a bit of a walk to the harbour but it was nice with plenty tavernas etc to stop off on the way. Beach just down the road. Maria was very friendly. Stopped in a deluxe apartment and it was very spacious with a lovely shower. We spent a couple of days by the pool and some of that time we were the only ones there!

Hosts were amazing, really helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect with a bus stop outside that took you straight into Rethymno town (€1) and a supermarket as well as the beach on your doorstep. The pool was a great size and often quiet during our stay. The accommodation was great value for money and was cleaned regularly - I would personally recommend the deluxe room for a couple

No shower hook in the family room

We booked a deluxe apartment for four but the very friendly hosts kindly added an extra bed for no extra cost after my son missed his flight home. The accommodation is beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The extra large bed in the main bedroom was the second most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the best was in a very expensive 5 star hotel in Mexico so that's really saying something! The three direction shower was also excellent, and the sofa bed was comfortable too. Teabags, sugar, salt and pepper were provided free of charge, as well as Raki. Shower gels and toilet rolls were also free of charge. The pool and surrounding area was lovely, with coloured lighting in the pool at night, although, sadly, it wasn't usable after sunset. There's also a shady terrace with grapes growing, and a stereo. We were able to check in and out slightly later than stated without any fuss. Back to the bed--it really was exceptionally comfortable, so much so that I'm going to invest in the same brand of topper when I get home!

The apartment was a little cramped for four, and even more so for five, but we knew that when we booked so I feel a little bad saying so. The knives weren't very good and there were no keys in doors until we asked so the bathroom was unlockable for the first night we stayed.

Given that we travelled by car the location was good. Kids really enjoyed the pool

Parking is a bit far and carrying the luggages under the sun is quite uncomfortable.

The location of the property was excellent near the sea, the main town of Rethymno, a good choice of restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owners and staff were amazing and helpful in every aspect.

A minor disappointment but by no means a deterrent I.e. the shower area was a little restricted without an area to facilitate toiletries etc.

- bathroom can be improved - locations is not the best, 40 mins walk to the center

Everything is perfect. The staff is so nice and helpful and the apartments are spacious and clean. I recommend Theros very much.

María is the perfect host. Very helpful and accomodating.

The apartment is very close to the beach. Supermarkets and coffee shops are near. If you walk to the old city, you probably need 20 minutes but it is nice to walk by the beach.

Kind staff, nothing more to note

Bad view of Rothymnon with an adequate room. The rooms on booking looked different than the one we received. Kind staff but we ultimately decided to book a different hotel on the south side of Crete after one night.

Nice room decoration. Big private parking near. Receptionist is extremly kind. He was there for everything we nead (hair dryer on demand).

Shower is very small. Breakfast is based on delivery. Its important to tell what you like, what dont, because they will bring you food they are thinking you will like it. Also I think, based on location, that appartments are little overpriced.

Rooms were a big size and had lots of space for just the two of us. Location was very good and hotel had two good size car parks as we chose to hire a car. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they let us keep the room until late in the day so we had the facilities as our flight wasn’t until the evening. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Staff was impecable, breakfast is really great too, it's cozy and the parking space isn't far from the apartments.

The pictures of the apartment we've seen online don't match the apartment we stayed in. Of course that can always happen, but it was a downside point for us. Besides that, there was a cockroach on the bathroom floor. Once again, it could happen any place else.

Our room was clean and very cosy. From our balcony we could see the roofs of the neighbourhood and the sea. We liked our stay at Theros a lot, we felt the real greek vibes. The host was very welcoming. If we are back in Crete - we will definitely stay again.

Lovely location and great facilities! We really enjoyed our stay.

I didn’t think it was the best value for money as it was the most expensive place we stayed.
