The house was just gorgeous and had absolutely everything you'd need! From the comfy bed the size of a small football field, the beautiful warm showers, to the cosy lounge with smart TV entertainment. And the location was perfect for a week of skiing at Falls Creek and the proximity to everything in Mount Beauty! Huge thumbs up to the Ginger Bread house!

Lyn’s place is very clean, warm, organised, cozy, well equipped and well stocked (toilet paper, paper towel etc). My children were so fascinated with the pet chicken that laid eggs each day and everything that grow in the garden. Such a lovely experience. It’s very close to the shops and a little drive away to bike trails and bike parks. I definitely recommend The Gingerbread House!

Nice location, easy car park, large kitchen, comfortable sofa, multiple bathrooms and toilets. House has a veranda and a backyard with BBQ. We had the kitchen stocked with breakfast cereals, milk, butter, jams, Vegemite and a lot of bread. Lyn was also very kind to let us have the backyard chooks' eggs. Aircon was a blessing because it was very hot.

if I want to be very picky, the kitchen knifes weren't very sharp

Breakfast supplies were just fine - worked out how to grind the coffee beans. Breakfast outside on the back deck was just magical. Drinks before dinner on the front deck was also lovely. The chickens laid a few eggs for us too. Did use a few of the lemons from the laden tree. Location is walking distance from Tawonga South and Mt Beauty with a good track. Great to have a code on the door so we didn't need a key.

We could not work out how to change the volume on the TV. We also could not find any coathangers anywhere.

It was clean, well equipped. and the beds were comfortable. The location was great with a lovely garden and veranda with great views.

It was disappointing to find notes with instructions on what to do and what not to do in every corner of the house. Surely these requests could have been consolidated onto pages included into the folder provided by the host rather than being affixed to all the walls. We felt like errant children who couldn’t be trusted. It was also disconcerting to have an extremely loud floor squeak at the top of the stairs. Whenever anyone got up in the night (an unfortunately frequent event for some of us) the whole household was woken up.

Maybe a heater in the living area would be nice

The house is very clean, cosy feeling, location is excellent. They have 2 chickens at the backyard and we were allowed to collect the eggs every morning. They also have a little garden for herbs and cherry tomatoes. The host gave us her mobile number so we could contact her directly, she's very lovely. So far we all loved the place.

Check in time was very late, 4.30pm but they couldn't allow late check out

It’s nice clean and quiet. Breakfast was also provided.

If wifi can be provided that will be fantastic

It was good to have two bathrooms for the two couples staying at the accommodation. The kitchen had plenty of equipment in it which made preparing meals a viable proposition.
