My family of four (along with our 2 pups), stayed at this amazing cabin. I have been traveling to NH for 10+ years and this is by far one of the best (if not best) locations I have ever stayed at. If you are looking for a true escape, immersed in nature, look no further! This cozy cabin is completely private and on a beautiful river. The pups (and kids) loved the beautiful path right outside the house for walks. We loved it so much, we booked it for the summer to enjoy the river. Thank you to the amazing hosts for a wonderful stay and excellent communication!

What a wonderful spot. Loved everything about the house. Peaceful, relaxing and location was wonderful. My husband's smile was worth every cent. My dog didn't want to leave the river. Owner's were great and made sure we were comfortable. Already thinking about our next trip. Thank you.

We had a great time. Cabin is in a perfect location. On the end of a dead end lane with the river right across the road and a trail head at the end of the driveway. Very private but close to N Conway.

This was our second time at this property and will be our last. The first time was great, we enjoyed the fire pit, deck, and cabin. It was cold out so we needed the heat on. We returned at the beginning of September during 80 degree weather, with humidity in the 90s. We were shocked that they don’t have air conditioning. So sleeping was not comfortable at all. Only 2 windows could be opened due to multiple spiders nests. My dog was panting during most of the stay.
We then lost power during a thunderstorm for a few hours around 11pm. We had no cell service or running water. We followed the emergency instructions telling us to plug in the corded phone so that we could report the power outage, but we did not get a dial tone. The power fortunately came back on by itself.
Also, you have to pay an additional $75 for towels and sheets. And if you use the blankets, you are expected to wash them.
Like I said, this was our second time at the property, and the only “improvements” made were adding a few chairs. (Try adding some lights surrounding the house so people can see).
We contacted the owners about our discomfort during the stay and were told “I’m sorry”. Well I’m sorry that we spent that much money to sweat for 4 days.

Absolutely loved our third visit to this secluded cabin retreat. The area had got a lot of rain recently so the river right beside the house was majestic. Beautiful trails around the area and a great place to fully enjoy the white mountains. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is even more charming than the pictures would suggest. It was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 7) to explore the property/river with our dog, and was also an excellent jumping off point for all the area has to offer. It was spotless on arrival and had all the amenities we needed.

Loved being right on the river! Appreciated that they supply all the basics in the kitchen, and even wood for campfires.

Weather was either cloudy or showers during our stay but we still had a great time. Cabin was very clean and as seen in the pictures. The bed was really comfy. The circular driveway from the road to the back door made it easy to unpack and pack up the truck. Great location close to trails, Diana's Baths, Cathedral Ledge, Echo Lake State Park, restaurants-Flatbread Company and Moat Mountain Smokehouse were both delicious. Our golden retriever didn't want to leave. We had to promise her we would be back again to play in the river all day...

First time back to NH in awhile. Felt really fortunate to find Brenda and Damons place in the woods on a running stream in the White Mountains and North Conway area. The property has a real "at home" feel. We really enjoyed our stay. 2 thumbs up!

This house is an amazing peaceful get away. It’s very secluded and quite. Listening to the river at night is relaxing. The porch is where we spent most mornings for coffee and evenings on the rockers before heading to start a fire. Defiantly will be back! Thanks to the great owners for east communication and making us feel relaxed.

Very quiet cabin on the Saco River. The manager was very helpful. Only drawback were the mosquitoes.

It is as advertised, a very relaxing weekend was spent at this cabin along the river. Our dog would have even more great things to say if he could talk!

Brenda’s cabin was excellent! Located in a fairly remote area and away from other neighbors. Waking up to the views and sounds of the river was so nice. Brenda’s communication was also very prompt which made the experience easier and enjoyable.

What a great several days at this quaint cabin on a quiet private road by a beautiful river. Never turned the t.v on; just lots of wood fires, the great outdoors and everything we needed; so cozy. Close to town of North Conway and close to MT Washington too along with various options to back country ski. We are planning our next trip here. Loved every second!

If I could own a cabin in the woods in the river that takes me back to simpler times, this is it. Easy, comfortable, close to it all, teen approved and as described as shown in the pictures. Hope to return soon!

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at this cabin! Can’t wait to come here again! Walking out and hearing the flow of water all day long is so calming. The pathway is a nice short hike along the river! Cabin was very clean and cozy.
I would recommend this listing to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy being away from the more populated areas.
The owners are also very friendly and keep in touch.
Thank you Brenda!

My husband, two Jack Russells and I stayed at this property from Dec. 22-Jan. 2 2022. We had a wonderful stay at this property and already booked for the following year. The host were very responsive and the property was exactly what we were looking for. The house was very clean and the location was great. It is located at the very end of a quiet street, the only sound we heard the whole time was the river outside. We enjoyed the fireplace and relaxing together in this cozy home. We loved the remote feeling but loved that we were still close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you for having my family!

We absolutely love to visit the Lost on the River cabin. Its location is perfect for us being on the banks of the East Branch River as well as being the last property on a country road. We love the secluded feeling while still close to great stores and restaurants. Hope to return in the New Year

This is my second stay at this property, and it's just a wonderful location (end of a dirt road with a trailhead at the end of the driveway) for those looking for solitude and to be surrounded by nature. The Saco River is directly across the single lane dirt road, and the firepit overlooks it. The woodstove/fireplace inside makes for a nice and toasty treat. Modern tv and internet, but the rest is a very comfortable true cabin feel. The owners also use their property so it's in great shape and I feel fortunate we were able to stay here twice now. Walks on the trails and listening to the river as we had breakfast on the large front porch was exactly what we needed for this unplugged getaway. A brewery is just 4 min away and restaurants at the tip of North Conway are just 10 min away, so you're not far from civilization, yet are perfectly submerged in the woods here. Hosts communicate quickly and are a pleasure to deal with.
