A wonderful environment with lots of room. Bedrooms are welcoming and very comfortable. Outside enclosure is beautiful and fun to explore. Hosts are responsive and accommodating and helped to make the experience delightful. Thanks! We’ll be back!

This treehouse property was perfect for our group of 10. We were worried about neighbors, but this place was so secluded that we didn’t have to worry. Everyone had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again.

actually, felt like we were on a vacation not just someone's home. the home has bed bath on one side and 2 bedrooms /bath on the other side separated by the common area. gave my husband and I privacy. The outdoor space is amazing, very relaxing spent a lot of time out there. Will definitely rreschedule next time we are in Lafayette.

This house was a great choice for us while visiting my Mom in a Rayne for her 92nd birthday. My brother flew in from Florida and my husband and I drove in from Texas. Being able to sit and visit in the evenings, cook meals together with my brother from Rayne was exactly what I was looking for. There’s so much more time to spend bonding after being apart when you share a home, rather than staying in a hotel. To address the location: yes, it looks like it’s in an industrial area. It’s not. There was never any activity in the warehouse or parking that abuts it to the north. The rest of the street is residential. The area is very quiet. I never felt unsafe. We spent part of each evening sitting in the yard under the large oak. I booked the property and my Florida brother had his doubts after looking at a satellite view. Upon leaving though, he said it was nice and he’d stay there again. He’s finicky, so that was high praise indeed!

The house is in an industrial area but only a few miles from town. The property is quite secluded with plenty of space. We used 2 of the 3 bedrooms on each end of the house. Each had private baths. This is an old house with a lot of customizations by a non professional but very interesting if you like a creative mindset. Plenty of outdoor seating areas and drinks in the treehouse is fun. Interesting artwork and displays throughout. Didn't have cable but did have roku and Netflix which was fine for us. Appliances all worked, fast hot water, beds a little hard but comfortable enough. Owner and caretaker responsive within the hour which was appreciated. Lafayette doesn't have much in the way of Cajun or zydeco during the week, but we found several venues on the weekend. Would stay here again because of the uniqueness. If you want your floors all even and drywall without pictures and hooks everywhere, then this place is not for you. If you are creative, then you'll love it!

A gem in a pretty ordinary-looking area. Pass the small industrial shops, and turn into a nice, secluded rest stop. Lots of imagination put into the structure, both inside and out. Many options to spread out and enjoy company. We gathered for a university graduation, and we’re able to have the whole gang (12 ) over to relax in the yard and deck.

Check in was super easy. Host was available for any questions or concerns. Had a few hiccups in the begging but Paz took care of everything and even bought us lunch.

Management of this property had changed and this was not properly communicated. Current owners left it to his brother to clean the place during his lunch break from work and the place was disgusting inside and out. We had to spend time cleaning before we even unpacked. Duvet covers and blankets dirty. Linens stained and wadded up in armoire. Washer dryer missing a knob and had mouse droppings on top. Outside is not at all like pictures posted on internet. Canopy is shredded and sitting are filled with tools and junk. Outside area filled with junk. Tools, trash cans, ladders, etc. Bong left in treehouse. Dishes left in dishwasher which smelled musty and not usable. We had to buy paper plates because I was not going to unload those dishes. We bought a coffee pot as the ones left looked disgusting and had not been cleaned properly. Eggshells left in egg carton in fridge. It is evident that owner's brother is living in this place and not keeping it up. Current owner was not responsive and has not been truthful with the facts as they are. This place is not of VRBO standard or quality. I have pictures to post of the current state of this dump. This is also a. Dry industrial and dumpy area of Lafayette. Trains nearby, so not quiet at night. We were over charged for this dump. We've got 8 people who will attest to this.

This is a lovely spot, off of the beaten path. We found the facilities clean, tidy, welcoming, and easy to use. The host was very flexible and helpful. The grounds/treehouse, were simply fantastic.

Great location, easy host to work with. Loved our stay here!
