The location cannot not be beat. You step outside of the apartment building and, within seconds of walking, reach the promenade and find unparalleled views of Lago di Maggiore. For my family with young children often in strollers, access to the smooth promenade and abundant restaurants, shops, pastry bars, and gelaterie was paramount and made for a wonderful Mediterranean stay. The view from the terrace outside the apartment was also wonderful -- a view of the central garden of the apartment building, the lake, and the villages across from Cannobio. The supermarkets were comfortably within walking distance, as was the main beach in town where we spent most of our days. The building had a mix of other young families and older residents, who were very kind and friendly.

- The beds were not very comfortable. - The trash was full partway through our stay and, although I contacted the apartment owner about removing the full bags, they remained on our terrace for the last few days of our stay instead of being picked up and disposed of (I could not locate the common trash bins in the building). - The apartment was somewhat uncomfortably hot at night, in part because our stay was on the back end of a heat wave and in part because the placement of the apartment's windows does not provide much of a cross breeze. The apartment possessed 2 floor fans and a fan to position on a desk/dresser, but none of the fans provided much relief, even at night.

Gute Lage und schöner Ausblick! Große Wohnung mit modernem Bad.

Die Küche ist dürftig eingerichtet, kein Gemüsemesser und Schäler, sehr kleine Tassen und Gläser ect., kein Geschirrspüler vorhanden. Die Betten im Dachgeschoss sind sehr schmal und nicht wirklich bequem und es gibt auch keine Tür (jedes Geräusch im Wohnzimmer stört die Nachruhe) Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen! Parkplatzsuche könnte in der Hauptsaison spannend werden! Treppe mit Gepäck anstrengend, für ältere Menschen oder mit Gehbehinderung nicht empfehlenswert!

Ein super Blick direkt zum See

Die Ausstattung ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Funktioniert aber alles.

Die Lage ist sehr Zentral und die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich bei Fragen über Whatsapp. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Gute Heizung.

Etliche Treppen zur Wohnung dafür einen schönen Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore. Leider kein Parkplatz zu der Wohnung aber auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz haben wir fast immer einen Gratisparkplatz gefunden.
