Great place to stay. The location is convenient to hiking trails, good restaurants, markets. Owners have thoughtfully provided for every need, comfortably furnished the house. Love sitting on the deck looking over the bay and listening to all the birds. Will be back soon!

Wonderful quiet forest chalet with bay view. Two nights was not enough. Next time a longer visit guaranteed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely, well equipped cottage. From the welcoming bottle of wine and chocolate bar to their help during an emergency (PG&E power outage), our hosts were extremely generous!

The home was delightful..everything was so well thought-out to be in harmony with nature and with its surroundings. Very comfortable for hanging out and so convenient for exploring the area. Loved it!

Absolutely loved this cottage, very peaceful and relaxing. The whole process was seamless, absolutely spotless when we checked in and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Will definitely rent again!

We arrived in the middle of a major storm and the first thing I noticed when I took my boots off were the radiant warmed floors and how comfortable it was. The house had a comfortable bed with plenty of linens, blankets, and pillows. Nicely decorated with art and rugs and touches that really made a cozy environment. I particularly enjoyed the yoga room. The next day was sunny and we enjoyed a drive down to the end of the National Seashore and dinner at the Station House Cafe in Point Reyes Station. We stopped by the market for a few things and always a stop at the local bookstore. We have returned to the area at least 10 times. Would definitely stay here again. My husband and I had a great stay in Woodhaven. We loved the house with its unique redwood walls and beamed high ceilings. Numerous skylights made for great natural light, too. The bathroom was attractive with the glass shower stall offering privacy but nice views as well. The kitchen was very well equipped for meal prep and the outdoor grill worked well, as did the washer/dryer in the large pantry/storage room. The bedroom had a very comfortable queen bed with good reading lights, a large closet and a chair. Views of Tomales Bay were available in most places in the house. We enjoyed the fireplace (easy to use eco-logs), and the tennis court (racquets and balls in the pantry). We had several dinners at the house, and two great experiences at Due West (next to Olema House) as well as fun, tasty lunches at Sidestreet (Pt Reyes Station) and Tony’s Seafood (Marshall). Weather was perfect for hiking at Chimney Rock and Abbott’s Lagoon. We hope to have another chance for a multi-day stay at Woodhaven.

Wood Haven was a perfect escape place for us. It was so cute and so comfortably furnished, with everything thought of to make guests feel at home. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked which makes meal prep a breeze. The rough redwood paneled walls make the whole place feel cozy. There’s even a view through the trees to Tomales Bay. The property manager was immediately responsive when we asked to come a day earlier than planned and later had a question about check out. We can’t wait to go back!

Waking up to views of Tomales Bay from our comfy bed and hearing the birds right outside our window was such a sweet start to each day. We cooked all of our meals from the very well appointed (and clean) kitchen though there are some yummy restaurants nearby doing take out and outdoor dining during this time. We were happy some nights got chilly enough to sit in front of a cozy fire, but we were never chilly as the ceramic floors have radiant heat. Toasty! We loved that the TV is out of sight until you want it, and we never turned it on.We had a small issue arise and the property manager was super responsive and kind. And we met the owner of the home who is incredibly charming and pointed out some lovely walks for us to get better views of some birds we were seeking. 2 bald eagle sightings from the front of the house and from the deck over the water. Not bad :). She told us this home has been in their family for decades and it really does feel like a cared for family home.We look forward to returning. Just delightful all around.thank you for making our vacation so restful.

Beautifully done property. Has a close-to-nature feel right next to Point Reyes National Seashore. Several outstanding restaurants near by. Could not have been better.

Great property, nice water views and a full tennis court. Also short walk down the hill to a beach (Chicken Ranch Beach) property is well run and clear instructions provided. Do remember that cell coverage in the area can be spotty, but house has great wifi and you're near lots of great hikes and activities. Very spacious property for a 1 bedroom, would certainly return. Lots of wildlife in the area too (hawks, woodpecker, deer etc.).

This was a very comfortable space. Kitchen is well set up and bed is dreamy!

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved the place. It had everything we could have wanted... well-appointed kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds and furniture, beautiful outlook, and a quiet setting. Everything was easy.

We had a lovely stay at Wood Haven. The all redwood house is beautifully and comfortably furnished and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, like vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, coffee, ziplock bags, making it convenient to do a little cooking while there. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to many hikes, as well as Point Reyes Station. Highly recommended.

Exactly what we were looking for! We had a great weekend staying here, and found the location super convenient to hikes in the park, Inverness, Inverness Park, and Point Reyes Station. The setting was beautiful and relaxing. More than enough space for a couple. The kitchen was fully stocked. If I hadn't had an injury, I would have loved to use the tennis court right outside. I would absolutely stay here again -- and hope to! A few very minor comments, in case they help the owners or future guests: * The circuit breaker for the toaster over tripped a few times (easy enough to fix in the laundry room) * The TV is a bit old and despite an HDMI cable being mentioned, we did not find one (nor even a HDMI port on the old CRT screen). So if you want to watch a movie or something using your laptop, you may not be able to use the TV. * The bathroom sink drain was a bit slow. * Shower has a great view! Water pressure isn't great, but hey, you're on a big hill. I found it plenty warm enough, but my wife said she had trouble getting it hot enough. * The guest binder and emails were full of lots of great information, which was much appreciated. I did send emails to the owners but never heard back any direct responses. (Not that I had any trouble with anything, nor did I ask any questions; just was a bit surprised not to hear back from them. Maybe they were simply out of town.)
