Beautiful place close to the sea. It's so quite you don't even hear sounds from motorcycles or cars. We needed a time out from the busy crowdy stressful big cities. Rooms are perfect every day there was a room cleaning fresh towels fresh bedcovers every day. People at Tunak Cottage are awesome very friendly and lovely and very helpful. Just their smiles on their faces made us feeling like home.

The place is located far from the crowd. We love the silence. All we hear was the sounds from nature. We even had a beach for ourselves a private beach. If you like fishing it's a perfect place. Very close to Tunak Cottage you walk down to the beach for a swim or throw a line out. Very very friendly people at Tunak Cottage. Their smiles on their faces made us missing the place right now. Definitely when we visit Lombok again we go stay at Tunak Cottage again, no need another Hotel!

Very nice view into the bay with sun setting behind the hills from the room and the pool. very clean especially as there was a daily room service. All in all the experience was more like a hotel than a cottage.Staff was also friendly and rented a scooter to us, although it was more pricy as in Kuta (100k).

The first 2 nights we were the only guests what can feel abandoned but we mostly enjoyed the privacy. Parts of the front ground close to the pool and the restaurant were taken down by a landslide due to heavy rainfalls last year, for whom that might feel awkward.

The pool has an incredible sunset view and the restaurant has great food! The rooms have their own little terrace and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We got a motorcycle and shuttle service. You can get to nice beaches and things to see easily by motorcycle. The place is owned and run by locals in a shared-ownership model amongst all staff. This is something to support for sure.

If everything is booked it might not be as quiet and private anymore on your terrace. You need a motorcycle to get around, as there is not a lot to see and do by foot. The staff can organise you one.

If you are looking for a quiet place without screaming tourists and still want to have first-class comfort and very helpful and yet not intrusive staff - this is the perfect choice.

Really beautiful place with an amazing view. Nice little infinity pool directly on the cliff. The restaurant was nice with a little selection of good food. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Everything was clean and in good condition.

Depending on what you about to do, keep in mind that the location is a bit out of everything. You'll definitely need a scooter. No big shops or something like that a really close by. The next city with all you need is a 20-30min drive away. But this was totally cool for us and what we wanted actually.

Nice room, great bed...with garden and great seaview. The price is just a little more the other accomodation near by - but you are right at the entrance of the national park! The Hotel belongs to the comunity and the park fee is inkl.the Hotel price! Also biks and breakefast inkl. Staff extremly friendly and helpful. We realy enjoyd it and stayed longer than we planed before 😉

This is a simple small new hotel with a nice view of Gerupuk bay. Food is good. Staff is helpful (although they should have local boat drivers contact for arranging surfing). No pool, but ocean with beach is nearby.

That is a lovely place! We were the only guests at the time, so it was veeery quiet and relaxed. The food there is the best on the island. You dont need to pay for the entrance to the national reserve. Best view. Mind that you need transportation to get there. Overall is great, absolutely happy and recommended to stay.

The bathroom need caring hands. No shops nearby.
