Filipa's and Vitório's place is a real gem! If you are looking for a little paradise in the Azores, stay with them! They are fantastic hosts and could not do a better job. We simply loved it and would come back any time!!!💛💛💛

Filipa and Victorio were very helpful and welcoming. Victorio took the time to show us the apartment and the property. The property is big and very well maintained with great view of Pico with a roof top terrace. The apartment is clean and well decorated (on a modern stype), the 2 bedrooms have private bathrooms and that is very useful. The location is not far from Horta and very quiet. The Portuguese bread is a nice touch.

We liked everything about this property. The location was close enough to Horta, but far enough away to feel rural. The property is simply exquisite with gardens (including herbs and fruits that guests have access to), and our apartment was smartly designed. You also had access to all the outdoor spaces, so we were able to enjoy our breakfast on the upper deck overlooking the ocean and Pico. Filippa and Vitorio were very accommodating and made restaurant suggestions and seemed to be available at your fingertips. Without question this is the best place we stayed during our time in the Azores, and we would absolutely, without hesitation, stay there again and recommend anyone stay there.

Really nothing. We did sleep with the windows open and there were the ‘outside’ animal noises (dogs, roosters, cows, birds), but if you close the windows, you can close all that out if that’s your preference.

Filipa and Vitório are outstanding hosts. They are extremely kind, helpful and so happy to share information and give advice. The property has a terrace that provides an excellent view of Mt. Pico. The best sandy beach on Faial, Almoxarife, is nearby. The apartments are well-equipped and perfectly clean. Having access to the extensive garden and outdoor grill is a huge bonus. I absolutely recommend Quinta do Torcaz and definitely hope to come back again soon.

The 4 seats in front the bar are made with wood and not very comfortable, it miss a rod to place our feet fixed on the bottom of the bar.

We spent 3 weeks in Azores staying in several 9+ apartments and this was by far the best. Our apartment was perfect for our family. New, cozy and beautifully appointed. Kitchen was more than enough and bathroom was spotless. We had amazing views to Pico from our windows and also access to a communal terrace. Aircon was a plus that we appreciated. It is not in the center but it was not a problem with our car. And the host Filipa was really helpful and kind. From checkin and later she always helped us and gave us a lot of good advice. All in all, perfect.
