Location perfect, very quiet and near some restaurants.

Many ants 🐜 inside, some ant powder and a good clean would have solved it. Needed to have been cleaned better. No mention of the additional electricity charge with Booking.com, so was shocked to learn this on arrival. 200baht for 3 nights with air con all night and electric shower used 6 times.

The bed was really hard on the back and the booking.com write up didn’t match the actual facts (extra cost to electricity use, no toiletries provided).

Bungalow came with a full size fridge and equipped gas cooker, including utensils. Friendly staff also let me check in early :)

Nice place surrounded by nature. I was nice to chill outside at terrace. Supermarket, cafe and good Italian restaurant are very close. Host Sofiane is very kind and helped with taxi and some usful information.

Koana Bungalows is not merely photogenic, it's exactly as the photos show in form and spirit. Spacious bungalows with large hammocked terraces nestle off a quiet road near the exquisite shoreline (a must at sundown) near shops, laundry and other services, all set in a lush coconut grove. The location between the main town Thong Sala and the meditational charms of Srithanu offers a wide variety of day and night time activities without going far. The owner, Sofian, is the perfect host. As a long term resident of Koh Phangan (he and his wife also run a picturesque beachside property the other side of the main town; Koana guests may use their pool and beach facilities), Sofian knows exactly what's going on, where to go, what to do. He goes beyond the call of duty to help and guide his guests. Highly recommended. In a word - marvellous.
