Not the most glamorous of places, but we were pleasantly surprised with our stay here! The staff were very hospitable and friendly and the location is great. Would definitely recommend for a cheap and cheerful stay in Mumbai.

We felt it was a bit odd to pay before we had seen the room, but this does seem to be their policy. Breakfast didn’t really appeal to us but there are lots of other great places to eat in the city.

Die Lage ist fussläufig zum Gateway of India und circa 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof Churchgate, von wo aus man sehr günstig mit der Bahn zum Dhobi Ghat, Dharavi und Flughafen fahren kann. Das Essen war immer lecker, morgens kann man sich Eier nach Wunsch zubereiten lassen (Rührei, Omelette etc.). Es war einigermaßen ruhig und die Zimmer bieten viel Platz, wir hatten sogar einen Balkon. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Die Betten waren quasi steinhart. Wenn es bequemere Betten gäbe würde ich 10 Sterne geben, aber so konnte ich leider keine Nacht durchschlafen.

Great location for exploring Colaba and excellent staff (prompt, friendly and welcoming). Breakfast and dinner included was amazing as we enjoyed the food cooked and it helped us save some money too. Room facilities were good and the air conditioning was welcome.

Maybe on arrival, the reception could offer advice and things to do and see in Mumbai e.g. different tours they would recommend.
