The house was a great fit for our family of four plus dog. It is set back from the road on a spacious property, which was often visited by deer. Inside, our favorite room was the kitchen because of the floor-to-ceiling windows and great view of the outdoors (including sunset). The living area was comfy for watching movies and reading. Upstairs, the three bedrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. Quick access to Greenport and Orient Point. Would be happy to stay at this house again.

Plenty of room for the four of us. Probably could’ve had a third couple easily. We really enjoyed this property. It had everything we needed, and the host was always available to communicate.

Had an amazing time staying at this location with my family and our dog for a long weekend in September. We would definitely stay again next time we are out in the area. The house was exactly as described. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee while watching the deer grazing 100 feet away in the yard each morning.

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse in Orient! Perfect location near the beach, farm stands, wineries and 5 minutes from Greenport. The house was just perfect and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

This home was so welcoming - clean, bright, thoughtfully appointed with everything needed to make you instantly feel at home. The setting is lovely - from morning coffee on the patio overlooking the field with deer or turkeys in the distance to being able to see the Milky Way in the dark expanse over the field at night. It is only a short drive to restaurants, beaches,vineyards and farm stands. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare local seafood and produce if you decide to eat in. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day.

Home is a short drive to beaches, restaurants, markets. We loved the large backyard with all the wildlife going by and using the BBQ grill to have dinner outside. Perfect relaxing long weekend stay! Rosanne is a great host.

We absolutely loved our five-day stay. The house was clean and had everything we could need. There is incredible biking just outside the house, which is near great beaches and restaurants. We also had so much fun just sitting on the back porch watching the extraordinary wildlife pass by. We hope to come again soon!

Beautiful place. Beautiful spot. All around. It was the perfect place for a weekend with our pup. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen was beautiful with everything we needed. What can I say? No doubt we’d come back any day!

We (me, my wife, and our twin 3 year olds) just returned from Rosanne’s amazing North Fork home. The inside was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but we ended up spending most of our time enjoying the property outside! The yard was huge - our boys loved exploring and running around, and we felt safe letting them do so. We enjoyed all meals in the well-appointed outdoor dining setup, and loved sitting by the fire table once it got dark. The location is incredibly serene, but convenient to everything North Fork has to offer. We have already discussed our next visit - this truly a gem of a home.

Comfortable and welcoming spot in a neighborhood that is great for biking and walking! Lovely green view out the kitchen patio - but if you are very noise sensitive you should know that on the other side of the house nearby is Main Road and you can hear car traffic - as well as roosters next door so just set your expectations properly and enjoy!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Rosanne’s “Little House on the Prairie” The views of nature from every room in this house are beautiful, very tranquil. The wildlife never disappointed us. The deer, turkeys and many birds seemed not to mind us at all! The home inside is spacious, warm, so clean and very well stocked. We hope to return again and often.

We thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer, turkeys, roosters and osprey roam the open backyard. It was quiet, comfortable farmhouse living. Lots of activities close to keep busy- wineries, golf, beach, biking, kayaking, lighthouse cruise. We had a wonderful weekend and cant wait to go back!

Lovely spot
The backyard was peaceful and beautiful and a lovely place to spend the day. Great location near many fun activities in orient and beyond. Host was very thoughtful and house was very well supplied. All in all, a great rental. Highly recommend

We had the best week at this sweet house in Orient. Went kayaking, swimming in the bay and the Sound, spent time in Shelter Island, and then riding the waves at a beach in Southampton. The house is in a perfect spot—close to the main road but on a quiet road that is perfect for biking. The walk/ride to Hallock’s Bay in the early morning became a daily ritual for our sons, who loved looking for hermit crabs. Water shoes are a must if you want to explore comfortably, as the beaches on the north shore tend to be rocky (definitely need them at Young’s Beach, where there’s no sand at all but lovely, clear water on the sound). We tend to prefer quieter spots, so Young’s Beach and Hallock’s were favorites, but Orient Point is also a great spot to spend a day and from which to launch a kayak. The house was cozy and had everything we needed to prepare our meals—loved the coffee bar! We can’t wait to return to Orient next summer.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful house. The host was very responsive to our questions and the house was in brand new condition and perfect location from local beaches, parks, restaurants, wineries and farms. Relaxation
This was a very relaxing stay for my wife and I. We went to the fish markets and bought and cooked almost every night fresh local seafood. Great places to paddle board, abundant wild life great wineries and just relaxing. We will definitely come back!

New Favorite Getaway!
My husband and I stayed at Rosanne’s warm and bright farmhouse in Orient. It was quite comfortable and very clean. The kitchen had many things needed for cooking like oil, spices, and even coffee, and the refrigerator had a nice assortment of condiments as well. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The wide expanse of lawn made it easy to see all the wildlife in the area, like deer, rabbits, and even an occasional turkey! Nighttime was equally magnificent with clear skies and even a view of the Milky Way! It is close to Greenport with lots of restaurants and things to do. All 3 bedrooms are on the second floor and the only bathroom on that floor is within the main bedroom. Highly recommended and will be our new favorite getaway place!

Lovely house and getaway!
Highly recommend this lovely home. Everything was exactly as pictured and we felt welcomed and at home. The expansive property makes for a real relaxing and rural feel (we saw lots of wildlife every day!) while also so close to all the North Fork has to offer. Rosanne was was a wonderful host. Looking forward to returning!
