This condo was a perfect fit for what I was looking for and provided a comfortable and convenient place to stay for my trip. Great proximity to my favorite beaches on the island!

We had a wonderful vacation.

When my family (my 75 year old mother, my son, my pregnant daughter in law and my 19 year old daughter) and I arrived, we were told the pool was not open 7 days a week until "summer". We were there June 4-10, 2023.
The unit itself looked great from the photos....however the refrigerator was dirty and not cold. When I called the owner of the unit he told him that it was not working properly he told me to get bags of ice and put them in the refrigerator. I told him this was unacceptable. He then told me to give the unit 24 hours to get cold.
There were several broken dishes in the cupboard, towel racks falling off the bathroom wall.
When we opened up the ottoman that was supposed to have sheets/blankets for the sofa bed the quilt had stained blood spots on it. When we opened the sofa bed there was a 6 inch blood stain on the mattress and that was the last straw. I texted and called the owner again and was told to "just put sheets on it".
I called VRBO who we rented from and they were unable to find us another room. We were forced to spend the night and we left the next day.
Still fighting to get my money back! I have photos of damage, broken items, screen shots of conversations, etc. I am happy to share!

The location was great. The washer smelled the master bedroom rug was soaked and it had a mildew smell. The air in the master bedroom didn’t work that well. The silverware in the drawer was not clean.

Had a great time relaxing here. Nice pool and lots of parking available. Walk to beach is a little far through the dunes path but the beach was so clean. Also only a few minutes to drive over to AC for some casino fun or shows! Love the keyless entry.

No issues. Enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive!

Very Outdated
The location of the condo is what drew me to it and it is in a good neighborhood.
The pool is clean and heated.
The ocean is a much further walk from the condo than expected. We have an infant and wanted something right off the water. The distance of the water is very far.
Inside the condo is very old and dingy. We had to get extra sheets and blankets to lay over the couch because it looked and felt gross.
It is advertised as “central air” but there are just old dirty window unit AC’s in each room which are hooked up to a thermostat. The bedroom AC barely works and the bedroom is very hot. Also the thermostats are set (and locked) to revert the temp to 78 every night at 1130pm, so you wake up sweating to an 80 degree condo.
The rugs are very old, dirty and stained and even if you decide to walk barefoot there are staples sticking up out of the threshold which will cut you.
The toilets are very small and old and the seats are loose and broken.

The location is ideal. Walk to the beach within 5 minutes. And the pool is great. And the layout of the unit is good. But it could use some updating. After speaking with some full time residents, the outside of the building (windows, stucco, etc.) will be undergoing some renovations so maybe the owner is waiting for that to make interior some updates. We liked Brigantine so much we are looking for our own place.

This property was clean and safe. Checking in and out was easy. Friendly people at condo and in community. Close to Atlantic City, but in an area that is good for kids. Nice walk to beach with children, not overly crowded. Overall met expectations was a good place to make memories with our family.

Beach condo
Beach family vacation. The location and heated pool were great. The unit itself could use some updating.

Nice condo on the beach
Pros: beachlife. It's amazing and this place is on a HUGE private beach. Not crowded. It's clean and fun.
2 showers in condo. 1 with jacuzzi tub that I didn't get around to using.
Locked entrances so no one will get on building that does not belong there.
The beds were so comfortable and the king size bed was a true king.
The window units kept the place super cold like we like it.
Updated TVs from pictures we saw so they are nice and they are all roku's.
Lots of parking.
Check out procedures were simple and took less than 5 minutes. I did lose a set of keys. My bad.
Lots of room. The condo is very big and accommodating for our family of 2 teenage boys and us to be free to do our own thing.
Wifi worked and was great.
No noise from any neighbors. Quiet as can be.
All pots, pans, cutlery, plates, etc were provided. Paper towels and toilet paper were provided.
The whole condo felt very much like home.
Towels were provided.
Beach chairs and a cooler were provided.
An additional box fan was in there which was awesome.
Stayed 7 nights and if I ever go that way for business again, I'll see if his condo is available again.
Cons: bring your own trash linens (big and small) and all toiletries including laundry detergent.
There are 2 keys. One for outside door to get in building and one for condo door. The one for outside door was the hardest to open. We came and went a lot and it never took less than 10 minutes to unlock and open the outside door. Pain in the rear.
As soon as we got there we were looking for trash linens and did not find any but there was a rotting bag of trash right next to the trash can that made my husband and my younger son sick. The doors for the trash closets in the building are locked due to covid19 So you do have to go to the street to throw away all of your trash.. I had to take that trash out as soon as we got there and it was disgusting.
The couches were nice and big but when you sit on it, the cushions slide out and you have to keep adjusting them. Even for a tv show which was kind of annoying.
Thank you.

This property may be considered oceanfront, but it is a rather long walk to the beach. The condo is old and dated. Shower doors are rusted at the bottom, couch springs are shot, windows are foggy, kitchen table and chairs are scratched, kitchen needs better pans, more silverware, and broiler pan top. It was clean.

comfortable but a bit dated
We found the beach condo unit quite dated. It had everything we need for a short stay, but a thorough cleaning and updating would help make the place even more inviting. Lightbulbs were missing from fixtures, there was an excess of old pots and pans which weren't organized, living room heater made so much noise we didn't use it, and the heaters generally just blew cold air! However, the owner was very responsive to our emails and reimbursed us for two lightbulbs that we replaced during our stay. Overall, the place was OK.

Second Stay
Stayed here back in 2014 and it’s still the same. The location is perfect but the condo is dated and the carpet, couch and appliances could be replaced. The Owner is very responsive and we would stay here again.

Brigantine stay
Property was old but adequate. Furnishings was well used. Kitchen was limited and utensils were poor. For a rental it was acceptable

family had a great time at Brigantine condo is a short walk to the beach, heated-poo was very nice
Owner Bill communication was timely, and seamless, easy check in/check out process. :)
Condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom( linens and bath towels included) with galley kitchen open to the dining/living room. Older Sectional couch with pull out sofa. All tvs had cable/ Ruku. Plenty of space for the family. Brief walk on a beach access path to the oceanfront or quick drive to one of the parking lots with a direct access ( around 18/19th ave).
Pool was great, kids loved it. lifeguards always on duty but closes at 7pm. Easy access to the island activities as well as just a short 10 min drive to Atlantic City. Condo could be a updated but was an Overall great reasonably priced stay at an awesome island location for a wonderful time with the family!! We truly enjoyed it!!

Would not recommend to anyone. I have photos if you would like

Great location
The rental was a perfect size. The location was great. Everyone was so friendly and extremely helpful. Everything was clean but the unit is dated. We brought our own towels and linens even though they were available. My only recommendation would be to have more lighting around the sofa area

Nice vacation
Overall a good place to stay. Could use some minor updates and a more deep cleaning. A great area. Loved Brigantine Island. Local restaurants had good food. Atlantic City not such a happening place anymore.
5.0
Overall the stay was very good. The place was clean, and there was plenty of room as well.
The stay was a good one. The overall consensus from us was that it did exceed what We were expecting. The size was perfect, place was clean, although it does need a couple of things updated/ changed..But nothing too major....Just a lil wear and tear on some items, but not a great concern.
Its proximty to A.C. awesome, especially to the Marina resorts..
Would definitely recommend it for the price and would easily stay here in the future.

Perfect location & value!
I have been using VRBO for 13 years, so when I needed to attend a convention at Harrah's with my 8year old Thursday-Sunday I looked for a close rental. This was so close & half the price of staying at the casino hotel!!! The owner was 1 of the best I've ever used. He was very accommodating and communicated quickly & clearly. The location is awesome- so close to the beach, near convenient shopping & minutes from Harrah's & the Borgata. The building was quiet, private & I felt safe. The condo was a very nice size & offered more space than we even needed. It is dated which may lead many to question its cleanliness. It was clean but shows some wear & tear. It is definitely in need of updating to address some stained carpets and cracked floor tiles. Overall, I would feel comfortable staying there with my family and would definitely book again based on value, location and the owner.

Outdated
The condo was very outdated and run-down. The towels for the shower had black stains on them. Stains on the carpet and paint peeling off some of the walls. Cheap place to stay but you get what you pay for.

Somewhat dissatisfied
So basically the place is in need of some serious updates. It was all fine and in working order and not dirty or anything. But definitely needed some updates. Also buyer beware do not book this condo if your kids want to swim in the pool as the pool is subject to not even being opened at all at their discretion. A nightmare when you have two children who only thing they are looking forward to with this trip is to swim in a heated pool. Very very disappointed, also the walk to the beach was extremely long, not ideal for carrying many beach toys.

Complex was very nice overall; individual unit needs cleaning
The condos at the complex are overall very nice. Family members stayed in a different unit and theirs was very nice.
The unit we stayed in needs some care. The furniture was nice, but the leather ottoman in the living room was very worn around the edges, the seat cushions on the dining chairs were stained, the carpet was very stained, the showers had a buildup of mildew in the corners and on the tile, the tub in the master bathroom had mildew on the shower curtain as well as on the jets and filter of the spa tub. Overlooking the cleanliness of the unit, we still enjoyed our time in Brigantine. The beach is beautiful, there are good restaurants, and the residents are very nice and helpful. I would return to this complex, but not to this unit.

Upon arrival the internet and tv in the living room were broken.
The condo is in need of updating. The bathrooms leave much to be desired. The pool was not open. The owner claims that it was mentioned but we were there for two nights beginning Memorial Day. Overall it was ok but for the money I wouldn't return.

Great relaxing weekend spot
Very much enjoyed our stay- Bill was helpful at all times and the condo was in great shape. Very close to the beach and lots of space, we hope to stay again!

Great location at a beautiful beach!
This condo had everything we needed for a great get-away at a private beach. It was clean and well decorated. The beds were quite comfortable as was the couch. While many of the features were updated, a few showed its age, like a few corners with cracked plaster and the screen door of the balcony. The walk to the beach may be bit long for anyone who has trouble walking, but it was beautiful to us as half of it is a path through tall, mature beach grasses and shrubbery. Our host was quick to answer the few questions that we had, and we would definitely consider staying here again.
