We could easily walk anywhere downtown. Close to restaurants, shopping, sights! Would stay there again.

We enjoyed the space and convenience but it was a noisy street 2 am.

Loved the high ceilings, exposed beams, brick walls and big windows. Perfect location for exploring Victoria. Comfortable beds, everything clean, great kitchen set-up. (Some of the other reviews mention excessive street noise, but this was not our experience.) We will definitely return!

We had a great stay in this Condo! There were 6 of us staying in the unit and there was plenty of space. A little more attention could be given to the patio to make it a little more inviting but other than that, it was great. We had other family members renting a few condos in the building which worked out very well. The location is fantastic!!! We would absolutely rent this unit again!

Location is utterly amazing, right on government street, minutes from parliament and the greatness of the nightlife, but loudness comes with the location. My partner had to sleep with ear plugs and all night long we heard the beeping of the crosswalk. Not air conditioned so you need to have windows open - and no screens on the windows. I felt that the floor wasn't clean as all our socks were left with dark stains on the bottom and the kitchen could have had more bowls.

The apt was very comfortable and in a great location. A very short walk to the harbour. Right on the edge of Chinatown. The building was very safe and clean. There is A LOT of noise from the street though. Windows had to be closed when spending time in the apartment and we needed fans on in the bedroom to block the noise from an extremely loud crosswalk signal that sounds off constantly during the day and often during the night.
If I lived in the building I would be going after city hall to do something about that crosswalk volume. It is crazy loud! It is a shame because otherwise I would give the space 5 stars in a minute!

This place was really great for us. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nice location. Getting the key was a little adventure but not a deal breaker.

Property managers were fantastic. Cleanliness was OK. The only drawback was the location. The location was great in terms of being right downtown however the one item that took away from the stay was that it was beside a crosswalk and in Victoria the crosswalk beeper goes off every thirty seconds twenty four hours a day even if there are no pedestrians. My wife and are are light sleepers and the noise led to very poor sleep the first night. Bought ear plugs and it made it bearable.

Great walking distance to shopping , dining and harbor. The crosswalk chirping and the seagulls will keep you awake at night. Condo is much nicer in person than in photos. Like most of Northwest, there’s not an air conditioner but several fans. No option of keeping windows open due to noises. Keys were a little confusing as well but our fault for not reading manual completely.

This unit was a good option for a few days' stay. The location is very convenient and the common space plentiful. I wish we had better weather to enjoy the sizeable balcony (and to taunt the neighbouring gym with our laziness).

Great apartment. Great location. Loved being in the centre of everything. Just as advertised. Seagulls were a little noisy in the morning, but that’s a small point. Apartment was well set up. We stayed for seven weeks and were sorry to leave.

This property was amazing! Perfect for a one month stay. Sound proof within unit. Street noise busy but that’s to be expected. Lovely charm and decor and really felt homey! Great location and good management!

We loved Old Town Flats! The condo was a great size, it was clean and had everything we needed! We absolutely loved the downtown location and were able to walk all over the city! It was nice to wind down in the evening on the deck with some cocktails to enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria! Also, we had the best time watching the Gay Pride Parade from the deck,! We look forward to visiting Victoria again and staying at Old Town Flats!

Great condo, awesome location!
We loved Old Town Flats! The condo was a great size, it was clean and had everything we needed! We absolutely loved the downtown location and were able to walk all over the city! It was nice to wind down in the evening on the deck with some cocktails to enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria! Also, we had the best time watching the Gay Pride Parade from the deck,! We look forward to visiting Victoria again and staying at Old Town Flats!

Perfect location
This place was great- well managed and excellent service. The only complaint was that the twin beds were a bit uncomfortable. The brick walls were attractive the living room and dining room were comfortable. The location near restaurants and attractions could not be beat.

The Good: This is an attractive, clean second floor apartment in a good location. It is secure and has a secure parking garage, the cost of which is included in the rent. It sports a nice, outdoor patio. The price was quite reasonable.The Bad: The brick and glass exterior wall of the main bedroom and the living area readily transmits, and seemingly amplifies, street noise. There were heavy and noisy vehicles, and people yelling and cursing and partying until well past 3:00 a.m., and it all sounded as if it were right there in the bedroom with us. In addition, the buildings across the street were brightly lit for most of the night, and the window blinds did not adequately shut out that brightness.Instructions provided for opening the gate to the parking garage were not just inadequate, they were flat wrong. The key and fob secured in a double safe behind an outside wall at a restaurant several blocks from the building were the ones required to open the garage gate. One does not, as described in the instructions, have to use that fob to enter the apartment to obtain another to open the garage (the fob inside the apartment will open three different security doors, but will not open the garage). Instructions were inadequate as to how to use the fobs, and which of the two gated garages in the area was the correct one. Instructions were also inadequate for using appliances--for example, the dishwasher or the plug-in wall fireplace (I asked about the fireplace, but received no reply). As has been noted by others, the second bedroom is tiny and quite stuffy. In fact, the apartment is compact, and both bedrooms would be better served by queen beds, rather than the enormous king beds which leave little room for anything else, including one's luggage. The closet in the main bedroom, where one might store luggage, was filled with a foldup bed.So my take is, one could live with, or work around, most of the flaws (and we did), but the noise factor would make me recommend against renting this apartment.

Fabulous location, beautiful condo!
We've stayed here a few times now, we love staying above beautiful Johnson St with all the colours and lights, it's like being in a fantasy world! Walking distance to everything Victoria has to offer. And great little condo with everything you could need and cozy decor... and it includes a parking spot! Yay!

It was awesome had everything we needed. The only negative is when your on the balcony the gym next door can be noisy but they finish around 8. Great location very clean I would stay there again.

Great location
This was a great spot. Convenient location to walk everywhere. Chinatown next street over and a great breakfast spot across the street. Apartment was lovely and well appointed. Nice outdoor space. My only objection was the second bedroom was small and without a window.

Absolutely wonderful! We loved it!
We travelled with another couple and we all agree that this property was fantastic and the location was excellent. The property was very secure so we felt very safe. It was large and the furnishings were very comfortable. The balcony was large and it was a very nice way to end our busy days sitting out and people watching. We even watched fireworks at the Marina from our deck. Restaurants, shopping and the Marina were all just a short walk. We will definitely stay here again if we can get back to Victoria!

Cool City Living at the Old Town Flats
We had a great time at the Old Town Flat! We loved how close it was to all the restaurants and shops in downtown and chinatown. The Fun Tun Alley was really cool and we loved MoLe restaurant. Our kids enjoyed having separate twin beds and their own bathroom and we appreciated it too. The balcony was amazing and unexpectedly large! We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony people-watching with a cold drink after a long day of exploring the city. The gym next door is a little loud early in the morning but we fixed that on day 2 by closing the window. Unfortunately that was the only window that opened (giant old historic windows) and the flat was a little warm, but it was unseasonably hot when we visited so we don't think this is a normal problem. We weren't bothered by street noise like other reviewers had warned (we brought earplugs but didn't need them), but we live in a city and are used to the low-level hum of the city. The beds were super comfy and flat was well-appointed and convenient to everything. Overall we loved the old town flat and city living and would definitely come back!

Great location, right in the heart of Victoria, easy access to great food and activities.
Overall it was a great experience. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It took us a couple nights to discover that it is not the most well sound-insulated building and the seagulls are a 24/7 cacophony. But, some good ear plugs took care of that and we slept well the remainder of our stay. I would recommend this location.

Great condo in Chinatown area
Loved this condo as soon as i walked in. Excellent location! We could walk to restaurants, shopping and the waterfront. Condo is equipped with all that anyone could need. The building is very secure so always felt safe coming and going. I would stay there again if ever back in Victoria.

Located within Victoria old town. Beautiful architecture and many restaurants and bars. If looking for r&r, give it a pass. If looking for action and fun, this is the place.

Adorable place in a great location
We had an amazing time! Me and 7 gals stayed here for a Hen Do and had the best time. Amazing location, super close to tons of cute shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the main harbor. Such a great find!

Great stay in heart of downtown
This was a great spot. We loved the flat! Kitchen was stocked nicely, beds were super comfortable. We come from a quiet suburban area, so it was nice to get into the city for a stay. We were above the MEC which ended up being perfect because we needed supplies for our race. Only complaint is the noise in the front bedroom, the windows were older and didn’t keep the noise out at night. The street sweepers come starting at about 4am, so it made for early mornings. But it didn’t hinder our enjoyment, just our sleep a bit! Thanks!
