First of all, I wanted to book a hotel room via booking... but it seems that Bellevue 766 was included in my research by mistake. The apartment is well located, convenient, and when we arrived, it was spotless.

The walls are as thin as paper. During our stay, we could hear absolutely everything from the apartment next door until late at night (coughing, talking, music, steps, noises from the neighbor's toilet...). Hence, we could barely sleep during our stay... I would have coped with it, if the listing didn't indicate that the apartment is soundproof which is clearly NOT...

Communications regarding access were fragmented. Access instructions could have been clearer, particularly the “video” regarding the front door code.

It was possibly one of the best non-hotel stays O’ve ever. Everything was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect and wi-fi (which we needed for work) worked very well. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Location was very good. Short walk to main surfing beach and to town, restaurants, shops etc. Good modern kitchen, bathroom facilities.

The address is not particularly easy to locate, as it is a laneway off the main street, and then down a breezeway that is not signed. Listing states that someone would be on-site to meet us on arrival. This did not happen. I called the phone number in the listing and it went to an automatic message service (in French, obviously) and I also sent an email via Air B&B platform. Repeated call to the listed number and same automated message. Sat in the rain and windy conditions for over half an hour. Cedric called my phone number after retrieving the message I left, and with his limited English talked us through using a code to access outside door, getting lift to correct floor, locating unit on that floor (unit numbers do not correspond to floor numbers ; 766 is on 4th floor ??) retrieving key from lock box. Not an unusual process in the end, but difficult to follow and second-guess instructions as a non-French speaker, especially when the listing says there will be someone there to meet us.

Difficulty getting around the bed

Excellent location, sofa bed very comfortable, stayed with my pregnant partner who found no issues with the bed. Very clean and had all we needed. Would return again 😁

Apartment is tight in size but very manageable, and no air con but a large fan is supplied.
