It was located at the waterfront of the main street of the city, so everything was within walking distance. The view from the apt was just fantastic, it almost felt like you own the sounds to yourself. The kitchen was so well equipped that my families joked about wanna renovate our kitchen to this. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable that I almost missed the sunrise coz I slept too well. I have to mention the washing and drying machines, really convenient to get your laundry done before you get on board. I would give it 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for the cold water bath I took.
The hot water was supplied by the water tank which could provide for 2 baths, but I didn't realize that until I just put on shampoo on my head and found that there was only cold water left in the pipes. It would be nice if this info could be noted in the notice book.

Fantastic views and the location was great. Plenty of room.
Was a little rundown. The washing machine was smelly so we had to clean it before we could use it.

The balcony was quite small and loses the sun very early, but it was still nice to have a balcony.
Would be great to have somewhere to hang washing on (a clothes airer as some items cannot go in the drier).

The view was great
Both toilet seats fasteners need tightening. Lucky we didn’t rock’n’roll and slide off to the never never!!! Condensation a problem in front bedroom. View great - decor doesn’t match up - very tacky. Cleanliness lacking.

The location was amazing and the view from the apartment down the sounds was outstanding
Unfortunately the noise from the pub underneath us was a bit annoying after 11pm but I guess that's what happens when your accommodation is above and they have a late licence.

The views from the balcony over the marina were lovely. Handy to the shops and restaurants/cafes, and the ferries. There was a feeling of space in this rooms. And, loved that it was close by to the excellent minigolf course (highly recommend the minigolf course).
This is a place to stay where you need to love bright lights and being sited over the town's restaurants/taverns whilst you are trying to sleep. Credit to the taverns, in that they seemed to quiet down around midnight. The bright lights (flood lights) from the incoming ferries, flashing harbour lights, and the pedestrian beacon lights all meant that you need to be able to sleep through those disturbances.
Compared with other recently stayed in accommodations, this place was overpriced for what it was. It is disappointing, as the place has so much potential to be stunning.

Host was very obliging with late book in arrangements only bad comment was in regards to floor in hall to 2nd bedroom was very wet oblivious possible leak from washing machine no complaint other than that one

If you are planning to take the ferry to Wellington, this Pty is located within 2 mins drive to the terminal. super near. Rooms are spacious and can easily sleep 5 pax.
Furnishings rather dated and some are falling apart.

unbelievable location such a beautiful town with fabulous views from the balcony.

a few maintenance issues: all vanity lights out in both bathrooms and 1 bedside lamp bulb burned out. condensation between double panes in master bedroom. we weren’t sure how to get in—no communication from property owner via booking.com. no ice cubes.
