The bungalow was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. If we ever return to Charleston, I would definitely stay at Folly a Deux or a similar Vrbo property!

Pros: The owners were very nice, the cottage was very cute and in a good location from downtown Charleston.
Cons: bed is very uncomfortable, if you have a car bigger than a medium SUV you will have a hard time backing up and getting to the street and the mini loveseat leans when you go to get up.

This guest house offered great amenities and comfort ideal for two. We especially enjoyed the quiet after a day or two in Charleston. It was the perfect place to decompress. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The hosts anticipate multiple uses for the space - screened in porch, a barbecue, lovely garden to see and venture and guides for the beach or city.

This year we decided to visit Charleston and surrounding areas for our Anniversary trip and we were not disappointed !!! The description and pictures do NOT do this perfect little bungalow justice!!! It was everything and more !! The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood that was only 10-15 from historical downtown Charleston! It was nice being so close to the hustle of the city but able to retire to peace and stargazing in minutes! The host have worked so very hard to create an oasis and they nailed it ! We unfortunately did not get a chance to meet the host but we left with the sun and returned after sun down ! There are so many surrounding areas to explore besides Charleston, all the beaches were beautiful and we even drove the short 2 hours to Savannah and spent the day touring around !!! We ate so many wonderful meals and shared so many laughs .... If you want a unique way to stay and visit Charleston and surrounding areas this is your place to stay !!!!!

Had the most lovely time at this property. it was close to downtown, but very private. My husband and I wanted a time to get away and reconnect. The bungalow was perfect! It was stocked with everything we needed and extras if we ran out or if we forgot something. The outdoor area was nice. We were able to enjoy our evening but with a screened in porch so there were no bugs! The shower was awesome, and there were multiple options on the TV. We would love to visit again. Thank you so much David and Josephine.

I had a wonderful time here in a beautiful backyard setting with nature and beaches nearby. Fabulous guest house with kitchen to cook a Cindy bed and all the things you need for a homey stay.

We stayed here for our first time in Charleston, and it was a great location being equally away from Folly Beach and downtown Charleston. It's the perfect size for a couple and a nice set up with the screened in porch to enjoy the shaded breeze. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The only area that felt like there is room for improvement is in the comfort of the couch and bed.

This property is even better than the pictures ! The cleanliness was beyond great and it was stocked with anything you might need. Perfect location to get out of the hubbub of downtown Charleston but still be close to everything! And the pass for the local beach was such a nice touch !

We visited Charleston mainly for the Chris Stapleton concert and to eat at Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ. Both were awesome! The VRBO was centrally located to several activities. It was an amazing get-away!

This property was the perfect location for us. While visiting our son, we needed to be close to him but also close to downtown and the Charleston area beaches. We could not have found a better place to stay on our visit. Adorable cottage! We loved the outdoor area with the screened in porch and patio/ deck are with a grill and fire pit. Lovely hosts! We will stay here again!

What a great little slice of heaven. This was such a beautiful little place to stay. The location has everything and more to make you feel at home and comfortable. We would wake up and drink coffee from the peaceful porch for hours and finish the day with drinks on the porch. If you're looking for a quiet secluded place to stay that is minutes from all the hustle and bustle, this is your place to stay.

This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay for our anniversary trip. The location was great, just a 10-15 minute drive into downtown or to the beach. The county park pass was a definite plus, we used it to get in to a few of the surrounding parks for beautiful hikes. Hosts were lovely. The place was quiet and felt nice and secluded. The garden was so beautiful and it was enjoyable to watch for birds/wildlife while drinking our morning coffee. We were so sad to leave after a week here. Lovely property and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Charleston!

I was still able to enjoy my weekend on the Island and would highly recommend this little gem to a couple or single person looking to get away from the life for a while. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

This is the cutest little cottage with the best hosts! Nothing was overlooked as far as comfort. I especially loved the kitchen with all the amenities Our hosts happily gave us directions and recommendations for everything we asked about. The gardens they have are amazing and beautiful to look at and walk about. Close to many places and its easy to stay in or go out! Wonderful place. Thank you!
