The place was real spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had was the squeaky mattresses. We were all over 70 years old and didn’t have any problem with the stairs. The view was awesome!

The house has everything you need and the property manager responds quickly and was very helpful. Every room was very comfortable. The kids loved the dinosaur cave.

Our family was impressed the minute we walked into the house. It is spacious and everyone had room for themselves. The outside porch was used the most. Beautiful. Very close to town. Highly recommended

THE DELIGHTFUL
* Exceptionally responsive and accommodating host
* It was really nice having access to the kayaks/paddleboats, and wood supplied for the fire pit
* Not terribly mosquito-y, at least until the night we stayed out way past sundown.
* The lighthouse suite (with dino cave/Captain's wheel) is a separate entranced, attached building above the garage. This worked great for our group, but I couldn't tell this from the photos, so mentioning it here.
THE DISAPPOINTING
* The lakefront as a whole was a bit disappointing. The dock had a bunch of rotting boards and posts which made it feel unsafe. The water was quite shallow, wadable out ~100 feet. They recommend water shoes and I would as well. It's silty- bottomed, but we picked up leeches and stepped on a rusty nail sticking out of a rotted board that had fallen off the end of the dock into the water. They mention tugboats, but you can't really tell from the photos that there're agricultural distribution facilities two doors down and also across the water. The industrial buildings made it feel less serene than other lake houses I've been to, and had a distinct smell in certain wind directions. We wound up spending most of our time by the house.
* The hot water issues others have mentioned impacted us as well. It cut out ~2x per day for us. The reset procedure was easy enough, and well documented by prior guests, but it's still a frustrating thing to have to worry about.

Very spacious house and nice big back yard with private dock and a swing overlooking the water. Lots of restaurants nearby and just across the waterway if you have a boat.

We had a great family vacation. Plenty of room for all 12 of us. We really enjoyed the outdoor porch on first floor with plenty of seating and 2 large tables. We brought our own net setup and the huge driveway was perfect for a full sized pickle ball court.

There’s plenty of room for our family. Furnishings are nice. The kids enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks. The kitchen had everything you need. The owner plans to replace the dock, that’s definitely needed. The property is centrally located and is a close drive to most attractions

We celebrated our Mom's 90th birthday here and we had plenty of space for everyone. All 7 of us children attended along with 3 spouses and we even had one bedroom unused. Becky was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time full of new memories and lots of reminiscing of our past years growing up.

This house is gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay so much!! The owners were so easy to work with and were available if we needed anything during our stay. The lighthouse area over the garage was a huge hit with the kids, especially the dinosaur cave under the steps. The house was really clean. The bedrooms are situated so that each person had their privacy and yet we all felt together. They allowed us access to their paddleboat and kayaks. The older grandchildren loved them. It rained several days while we were there. The house had games and movies and we also brought games so we were entertained while we were inside. Plenty of TV's to also keep everyone happy. The house is well stocked with towels and linens, even has an ice cream maker. We made ice cream one afternoon out on the porch. The porches were huge on both levels. Enough room for the adults to sit and talk and the children to play at the other end. The child safety gates were an added plus on the lower porches. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and pots and pans. Ice maker under the counter made plenty of ice for our crowd. There was even a 2nd refrigerator in the laundry room which was great for the kids Gatorades and water. The yard was mowed and had a nice fire pit and even had wood. We didn't get to have a fire due to the rain but it was available. Plenty of parking for our vehicles. Guntersville Lake area is beautiful. I would recommend this house to anyone that needs a large house for a family vacation. We hope to go back again soon.

Family of 12 stayed for five days. The house was spacious and the layout worked well for our family. We were pleasantly surprised by the distance from the shore we could walk in the lake. It was great! The property owner was great to work with, very responsive, and made recommendations for local attractions to visit.

We were a bit surprised that there was a processing plant within eyeshot of the house. We heard beeping throughout the day and could smell occasional processing aromas (chicken?). That being said, that is the only complaint we had about the property. We will 100% be coming back. The hosts were quick to respond and we could not have had a better time with our family.

We were a bit surprised that there was a processing plant within eyeshot of the house. We heard beeping throughout the day and could smell occasional processing aromas (chicken?). That being said, that is the only complaint we had about the property. We will 100% be coming back. The hosts were quick to respond and we could not have had a better time with our family.

Everything they advertised it to be. We were a group of 10 bass fishermen with 5 truck and boat combos & there was plenty of parking. House was very spacious with plenty of room for all 10 of us. Lakefront views were awesome. All in all a great time & we would consider this house on our next trip to Guntersville.

What a beautiful vacation home! This place has everything you could ever need. The owner thought of everything. Our grandkids had the time of their life. They loved the kayaking and the paddle boat. With the boat launch conveniently located just around the corner, We had a great time fishing. The owners were wonderful to work with. And answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven on earth.
