The location was good but I think it needed to state that it takes 64 steps to reach the top especially when you have suitcases. I liked the view however in the heat we needed shade on the terrace to stay for long periods. The proximity to the main centre and waterfront was amazing. Having two bathrooms was a surprising addition

Given that there were few supermarkets in town having a coffee machine with no pods was very disappointing and we needed to depend on eating out for breakfast. The bath towels too are very worn and could do with replacements. Power plugs did not fit all outlets. Given the price, a free welcome package would have been appreciated especially when you arrive during siesta time.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Varenna. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit, including a lovely sun terrace that was perfect for relaxing. It matched the description on the website exactly, which was reassuring. The location was ideal—just a short walk to bars and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet both during the day and in the evening. It offered the best of both worlds: convenience and tranquility. The agents managing the property were excellent—very helpful and easy to reach. They quickly resolved a small issue we had, which made us feel well looked after. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Varenna.

The view was fabulous and the air conditioning so appreciated!

Lots of steps. If you can’t do steps this probably isn’t your place. The up side: you earn a beautiful view with those steps.
