Domus Hyblaea Resort

The privacy and surroundings were top notch. It felt peaceful, secluded and very charming with olive, orange trees surrounding the territory, and bunnies, cats and pigs living peacefully among us ❤️

Everything was great and there is nothing that could impact a good vacation. Just visitors who want to cook on site, should bring their own dish washing supplies (sponge, liquid, paper towels).

Beautiful resort with stunning views of Sicily. Every night we would spot wild bunnies hopping around happily! All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Especially Cinzia, she went above and beyond for us during our stay. She was so kind to my toddler and always greeted us with a smile. No request was too much for her. And she accommodated us when we had to return last minute due to a flight cancellation following Mount Etna’s eruption activity. Breakfast was delicious with great variety and fresh eggs cooked to your liking. I have coeliac disease and was catered for very well (gluten free soft, warm bread rolls and filled croissants). Gorgeous, large swimming pool. It is a little bit of a walk away from some apartments, but we didn’t mind, even with our toddler/the buggy. It’s a beautiful walk! Spacious rooms with great kitchen facilities. They were cleaned every day by the kind maids and the fridges were restocked with water, given more toilet paper etc. It’s a great location right on the edge of nearby town Palazzolo Acreide. Shops like Eurospin and Coop are less than a 5 min drive or 20 min walk away. The restaurant was fantastic for dinner too. The steak with tomatoes and rocket was divine, as well as the carbonara-style pastas. They also do pizzas on a Saturday night. The chef was very friendly and came out to serve us some nights and say hello. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Le personnel très agréable et efficace. Le domaine est très beau, surtout la piscine très bien entretenue ! La chambre était confortable et bien équipée (grande tv connectée, cuisine…). Bon petit déjeuner également. Gros +: un très bon restaurant sur place avec un super service. Les produits sont de qualité, locaux, et la cuisine excellente.

Isolation phonique de la chambre. Sommeil un peu agité à cause d’aboiements de chien dans la nuit. L’eau chaude peine un peu à arriver dans la douche.
