Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig: direkt vor dem Fenster ist der ruhig dahinfliessende Fluss. Die Umgebung ist angenehm und herrlich für ein erstes Ankommen in Finnland nach einem längeren Flug.

Beautiful setup! Located next to Iijoki-river. Breakfast room was really nice old kitchen. Breakfast was really nice made with lot of great choices. Very friendly staff. Definitely we will return. Villa Kauppila has different kind of rooms. Not all rooms are ensuite shower. Please look carefully if you want one with all amenities.

The room itself was ok. Breakfast was ok too. There was a toilet in the room.
The shower was on another floor, doors in the shower wouldn't close. The window in the room wouldn't open. I got a message saying I will receive a code to the door on the day of checking in, but I did not receive a code, so I had to spend my money to make an international call to find out the code. The room was hot (the window didn't open). And it's way overpriced for what it is. It's just basically a hostel with breakfast. The location is so so. The town is very depressing and run down.
