The property is equipped with everything that you need to make your stay amazing. Comms with the owner Simon were also excellent, before and during our stay. The hotel itself is also fantastic, although the reception/management staff were quite condescending towards some of our party, when being quite rude about our late check out and badgering us for a card for pre authorisation, after they had forgot to take it originally! We were also disappointed with the attitude of some of the staff in the Sugar Apple Cafe on two occasions, firstly on Sunday 21st June in the afternoon when a male server tried to charge my daughter 136BBD for 4 dacquiris which totalled 68BBD! When he was told about his error, he said 'ohh yer my bad', but would quite happily have taken the cash for it. The second occasion was on Thursday 25th when we arrived for a drink at 8.30pm, only to be made unwelcome and told quite abruptly that they closed at 9pm. We made sure we were gone by 9pm! Back to the good points, the view from the apartment is to die for and the pools are lovely and warm. The area is fantastic to venture around and make sure you stock up from Massy's when you get there.

Yes mostly, we did ask for glasses which were delivered a few days later. The dishwasher failed a few days after our arrival but was replaced 4 days later. The entry knob needed replacement which was completed in 3 days.We were happy to be helpful to see the repairs completed. The staff were so helpful and supportive. We lived on the balcony literally, never using the living room or eating at the dining room table. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, our daily visiting bird named Martha was entertaining. The Hut was so handy. We enjoyed a couple of meals in the restaurant- totally delicious. Really enjoyed the pool. All in all first visit to Barbados but will not be the last. We liked the unit but next time would prefer to be right in the beach.Thanks Simon and family. Coming home to 3 feet of snow was shocking but memories of Barbados will remain close in my heart.

Great location!! Beautiful view from patio. Nice layout with lots of space. Easy to get around. Lot’s of local attractions. Fish market and beach across the street. Beautiful pools and property is well maintained. Simon our host was very responsive. Had an amazing stay. Would definitely like to return.

We had an absolutely amazing week long stay! We had first booked with a local hotel that was recommended but it was a disaster. We were fortunate enough to find that this place was available for our dates and Simon was SO accommodating with our last minute booking. The entire process was quick and easy!When we arrived at the apartment we were pleasantly surprised at the welcoming staff and beauty of the property. The lush gardens everywhere made it feel like a tropical paradise overlooking the ocean. Everywhere on property the staff were so friendly and helpful from the restaurants, the hut and the front desk. There are 3 pools to use, a restaurant, spa and salon, gym and a small store with all the necessities. Plus several restaurants in the area within walking distance (although a little pricey but very good). The apartment itself is a true gem. It is stocked with everything you need, has amazing water views and enough space for our family to spread out. The beds are all super comfy, the furniture is all well appointed and the decor is gorgeous...beachy and elegant. I can't say enough about how great this unit is. It offers all the space of a condo/apartment but with the onsite amenities you still feel like you're at a resort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! If you're not sure, don't think just book it now! You won't be disappointed. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
