City Center Apartment with Terrace and Air Conditioning
Très calme, belle terrasse avec verdure, climatisation, vue dégagée, aucun vis-à-vis, tout à côté du centre historique, vue sur la cathédrale St Sauveur et la Tour Tureluque. Très clair à côté du centre historique tout en étant parfaitement calme.Les cinémas et autres activités sont à 5 minutes à pied et le Cours Mirabeau également. La gare routière est à 10 minutes à pied ainsi que les bus aéroport et gare TGV. Pour les bus de la ville un arrêt est tout à côté de la maison. L'escalier de la maison est privatif ce qui donne l'impression d'une petite maison de ville. l'appartement est traversant et permet une grande luminosité. Tous les marchés aux fleurs et aux légumes sont à 5 mn à pied. L'on peut atteindre la montagne Sainte Victoire à 15 mn en voiture. Le Luberon et les petits villages alentour (Lourmarin, Gordes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Roussillon, ,etc) à 20 mn en voiture. La mer est également à 20 mn (Marseille, la côte bleue, les calanques de Cassis, etc...). La Côte d'Azur est à 1 h de route ainsi que le Var avec ses plages et villages (Bandol, Sanary, Les lecques, la Ciotat, etc...). La montagne avec les Alpes de Haute Provence à 40 mn (Manosque, Digne les Bains, Oraison, Sisteron, Les Mées, etc...). Les Hautes Alpes à 1 h 15 (Gap, Vars, Colmar les Alpes, etc...)

The property is in a very good location. Very close to the centre of Aix and furnished like a home in keeping with the age of the building. It is very cosy and has everything you need. There was a problem with some of the sockets not working but it didn’t spoil our stay. We understand that it is not always possible to get an electrician immediately. The outdoor terrace is lovely and very private and the area is quiet. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very welcome. The host is very communicative and met us on our arrival to show us around. All in all a very good stay. We would return.

The apartment is clearly one of the Hosts' homes, furnished with everything one could possibly need. The pictures don't do it justice; the living room is much larger than it looks. Because it's their home it's comfortable in a way that corporate or professional VRBO's aren't. Location is perfect, a block from shops and restaurants, easy walking distance to all that Aix has to offer, which is a lot. The hosts were charming and helpful, even lending me their garage so I wouldn't have to walk a distance to a public car park. I wish every VRBO turned out to be as good as this one.

The unit was clean, cute, and in a great location! The only issue we had was a lack of parking. The unit has parking listed as an accommodation, but there is no designated parking for the unit (we were told to find street parking or use the garage which was 20 euros a day). We knew we’d be traveling with a car, which is why we chose a unit which listed parking as an accommodation, so that was a surprise. Our hosts were very kind and the unit had nice touches (leaving extra toiletries out, bread and butter in the fridge, etc.) which we appreciated. I made sure English was an appropriate language before booking, but our instructions for checkout were in French and our host began messaging in French once we arrived, so it made checkout instructions a little unclear (I hope we did everything right)! Overall, we had a great stay and it is a charming unit, but if you have a car know there is no designated parking as is listed.

Lovely apartment, beautifully furnished with lots of Provencale charm. Beautiful terrace, lots of light, a view of a Roman ruin from the living room window. Ideally located for walking to restaurants and the train station and outdoor markets. The only problem was with the city itself: parking is expensive, especially if you park right next to the apartment (so I would recommend walking ten minutes and parking near the SNCF station instead) and traffic can be heavy getting in and out of the city.
