Amazing views, easy access, very well kept, beautiful dock!!!

Clean, everything we needed was on site, warm, welcoming. House was perfect!!

The property is in a GREAT location if you’re looking for a beach vacay away from the crowds but still central to things to do and great seafood. We really enjoyed having the dock available to watch the tides wane and the birds were exquisite. And the outdoor shower was a glad amenity. The beds were pretty comfortable and the kitchen was amended with most everything you’d need if you decide to cook. Hammocks were great and the Florida room with fan was where we spent most our time! You MUST try Bills Seafood Market for the BEST freshest seafood (and their boils! And PIE!) and Calabash Seafood Hut for true calabash! We’ll go back simply to enjoy Bills again and again. The putt putt course was great and we got to see Loggerhead turtles hatching at the beach! Park as close to the bird preserve as you can, take a net bag and enjoy the turtle nests, the birds, and all the beautiful shells and shark teeth you can find!

The house smelled slightly cigarette musty when we got there. It aired out over our stay but I’m guessing the guests before us were heavy smokers and brought the smell in to the couches and carpet. Our last night was disrupted by the Security system going off for an hour for a “water alert” and “connectivity failure” at 4 am. Still not sure why that happened but it made the long drive home rough with the interrupted sleep. Even still, I plan on booking this home for future visits to Sunset beach. You can’t beat the privacy and proximity of the property.

The house was perfect, comfortable and peaceful. It had everything we needed.

River view was great! Saw an alligator crossing the road. Loved shower head in showers!

Found 3 roaches while staying there. Furniture outdated. Thermostat kept turning ac to 75 or 76. Had to constantly look at it and turn it down to stay cool in the house.
