We rented this place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our jobs and to get out into nature and this place delivered. Well off the beaten path and close to a lake, we got to see and hear a lot of nature. It was a great place to relax and unwind. Unfortunately, it was unseasonably hot when we were there, but the two a/c systems kept the house cool and comfortable, and the ceiling fans made sitting on the enclosed porch bearable. The host provided plenty of towels, a there was a full sized refrigerator as well as a microwave, stove, and charcoal grill for cooking if you decided to eat in. There was also quite a few restaurants in the area if you wanted to eat out.We had a great week here and really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the property! The house is great, very spacious…the porches are great! The little river is great! The host communicates well! We hope to return soon! One of our most enjoyable stays.

We stay here every July and it is always wonderful!

This was the perfect place to stay and explore before dropping our daughter off at camp nearby. The screen porch was our favorite!
