This was my first visit to Sicily and first experience of staying in Italian accommodation. I was VERY happy with my space! The view was exceptional! I cried with pure joy the first morning i woke up and the sunshine beaming into my space! Mirko was very helpful, kind and patient ( I do not speak the language ) He used a translator on his phone for more in depth conversations. The staff at the local Conad Supermarket are such lovely people. My space was very tidy, clean and peaceful. I look forward to my next trip already. Thank you Mirko!
Insects are a thing in Sicily. I did a few high speed chases around the kitchen with a flying teatowel... no one was harmed and the bugs left before things got out of hand completely. OH! For all the tea lovers - there's no kettle for boiling water so you must boil it on the hob - works just as efficiently.
