This rental was perfect for our family vacation. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. The host was very responsive, and check-in and access were quick and easy. We also appreciated the thoughtful instructions provided for the A/C units, emergency contacts, and other helpful information. The location was close to the beach, making everything convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this rental to others. Thank you!

The Host welcomed us to Shadow Palm Villas upon our arrival. Our Villa was spacious & very clean; it had all the amenities that were necessary for a three night stay. Bathroom included plenty of towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, individual packets of makeup remover.

Shadow Palms was a great place to stay in Port A! The villa was so comfortable and well equipped. The property has a beautiful pool and outdoor showers that are perfect for waging off the sand from the beach. We absolutely LOVED having the enclosed front porch to unload all our beach toys.

The pics on VRBO were more forgiving than actual property. Exterior of villas was poorly maintained. Interior was dated and dark. Felt like I was staying in a cave. Paint needs to be refreshed, tile floor should be replaced with something cleaner, brighter, and more contemporary. Grout used throughout was brown. This hides the dirt and is no longer attractive. Coffee table leg was wobbly. Couple of the chairs around the island looked extremely worn. The refrigerator was not fully functional (ice maker didn’t work, filter water trickled out) and it was not as clean as it could have been. I get that beach property wears more quickly because of turnover and the salty air but given the amount I paid for the villa, I expected better accommodations. I was disappointed and would not stay again.
