Easy check in. Host was prompt and efficient in communicating. Clean and quiet. Good restaurants within a 20 minute drive in addition to the one in walking distance. Indoor pool and hot tub well maintained. Outdoor pool was not open yet but was being prepared for summer opening. Internet and tv worked great. Beautiful surroundings and well maintained property. Smith Mountain Lake State zpatj about a 35 minute drive with hiking trails.

Excellent condo for a weekend getaway. Was quiet and very clean. Close to lots of stores, restaurants, activities. Property owner was very helpful & quick to respond. Will stay again.

When we arrived, it was warm and humid outside. It was also warm and humid inside. The A/C unit had been set to cool to 50 degrees. As a result, the unit was completely frozen up and inoperable. I spoke to the host and he said there was nothing he could do that evening, but that he would send somebody out in the morning. We got the call Saturday morning that a guy was on the way. We got up and got dressed and he arrived. Obviously, this problem took hours to defrost. We left and came back in the afternoon to a cool unit and had a fine evening.
You are probably thinking the host offered us something for an awful night. We were offered no consideration or compensation for the inconvenience.
Bring towels too if you want more than 1 towel each for a 2 day weekend.
We spent our honeymoon 40 years ago at Bernard's Landing and have had many great trips there. This is no reflection on the resort.
