This duplex house boat is an excellent, unique option for enjoying Boston. The two single rooms each with a queen bed, bathroom, kitchenette are separated by an entryway and the pier is a quiet, peaceful place to rest after a day exploring sites. We appreciated baked goods on the counter, drinks and yogurt in the mini-fridge and the kindness of Sherrie who greeted us at the pier. It's easy to get a taxi to and from the pier or request food and grocery delivery at the end of 13th St just outside the pier. The pier feels safe and it's nice to have lodging on the water rather than in a hotel or in the crowded city streets. Thanks for a great place to make memories during World Cup 2026!

We had a great stay at the Green Turtle and it was everything we expected. Being our first time in Boston, the location was excellent with easy access to the ferry to take us to the North End where we enjoyed historic sites and some great restaurants. There is a convenience store with breakfast sandwiches as well as a little cafe walking distance from the Green Turtle along with a nice lunch or dinner spot on the waterfront. There is also a free shuttle that took us to the train station where we hopped on to Fenway Park for a ballgame. After long days of exploring we enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the boats go by. Our hosts Jon and Karen were so accommodating and even went out of their way to find me gluten free muffins (delicious)!

All communications were smooth property was clean Upon arriving the boat was moving slightly we went to bed woke up and the water was so rough we couldn’t stand up. Taking a shower was almost impossible. We were told we could use one up the street. Freezing cold out so that wasn’t an option. We had to leave the following morning because I was getting violently sick. Instead of keeping the heat running on the owner we told them we would be leaving. We asked for a possible day refund to cover costs to stay at a hotel near by. They answered simply you knew it was a boat sorry it didn’t work out. We would have had no problem paying two night even though we only stayed one. We left the place as clean as we checked in because we didn’t use anything. They charge to “use “ a key fob to get you back in and out. After asking to possibly retrieve that money they sent us a partial credit 56 I know neither of us could know what weather we could have but when the girl checking you in says if you fall in the crack (there a gap between the boat and dock you have to jump in the house) swim to a boat don’t grab the dock clearly there’s a problem. I have never left anyone a bad review and we’ve rented 50 homes over the years this is not insulting someone just hoping maybe they change the description letting people know there’s a chance you’ll be sick or the amount the houseboat moves.
