This place was the perfect location for visiting a friend in the DC area. It was clean, had all the amenities listed plus other supplies we didn’t think to bring for the weekend. Our host Kelly and her husband were kind and checked on us to make sure we had all we needed. I would definitely book here.

Spent five wonderful nights with our three year old granddaughter, son and daughter in law.Very comfortable place. Both bedrooms very comfortable, both bathrooms fine, living space confortable. Excellent space out back is perfect, especially with a child. I remember seeing some other small complaints online before we booked about not enough things in the kitchen, the kitchen not being set up for small meals. And I don't know what they're talking about, because we cooked a couple of times the kitchen has all the pans, dishes and all the utensils you could possibly need.Except for possibly a nice thin flat spatula. The location is incredible.Short walk to the zoo where you get to go in the bottom entrance that's not crowded. There's a beautiful square right at the corner, a100 feet away that had salsa music one night, a farmer's market, 1 day, then every night showed World Cup soccer games on an inflatable screen. Just the vibe in this entire neighborhood of heavy heavy residential is just perfect. We could live here without any trouble at all. Beautiful place. Oh, by the way, felt safe. Every place that we went in the area, all the way to and from the metro, which is only about 10 minutes. And I went on a 6 mile walk yesterday and never felt safer.Wonderful stay in Mount Pleasant, Washington DC!

Wonderful basement apartment in older part of town. Washer not working, host was very accommodating, thank you. Has TWO bathrooms, a big hit with my teens. Water filter pitcher in the fridge was great for fresh tasting water. Comfortable beds. Only suggestion is a good power wash of outside patio chairs, lots of spiders.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable beds. It's in a very cute , nice neighborhood. Kelly is super friendly and helpful. We will stay again if traveling to DC.
