Si vous cherchez à passer vos vacances à la plage, alors c'est votre location! Vérifiez l'emplacement - vous ne vous rapprocherez pas de cela. Mon grand «chalet» du Maine a été rénové au cours de l'hiver 2013 avec un nouveau porche enveloppant, une cuisine agrandie, une buanderie et une salle de bains au premier étage. Il a été rénové à nouveau en 2020 avec deux nouvelles salles de bains au deuxième étage.
Il y a une vue imprenable sur l'océan Atlantique et à seulement quelques pas de la plage de sable blanc de Gooch à Kennebunk, dans le Maine. Surfez sur les vagues, explorez les bassins de marée, profitez de kilomètres de vélo en bord de mer, surf, marchez vers l'aire de jeux, inscrivez-vous pour une excursion d'observation des baleines ou détendez-vous simplement sur la plage. La propriété est une courte promenade agréable vers le quartier bien connu de Kennebunkport, où il y a beaucoup de magasins, boutiques et merveilleux restaurants pour profiter.
La maison a une terrasse ouverte pour manger et prendre le soleil, ainsi qu'un grand porche fermé pour les nuits plus fraîches. La salle à manger, la cuisine et le salon au premier étage offrent aux vacanciers beaucoup d'espace et une vue sur l'océan depuis toutes les chambres. Cet hiver, la maison a été rénovée pour inclure une salle de bain au premier étage, une buanderie et une cuisine agrandie. Réveillez-vous au son (et à la vue!) des vagues de l'une des 4 chambres au deuxième étage. La chambre principale avec lit queen a une demi-salle de bain et se connecte à une deuxième chambre qui a un lit king et salle de bain complète. Les troisième et quatrième chambres ont toutes deux deux lits simples.

We had a fabulous vacation in July at this amazing house. The location is perfect to stay in this area for hanging at Goochs beach and shopping and dining in Kennebunkport (walking distance). The house was fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay which was very convenient for us traveling up from Georgia. We would definitely rebook if we are ever bank in the area.

Beautiful home and incredible location. We loved being able to wake up and smell the ocean and hear the waves. Gooch’s beach is perfect for little kids! We all slept like a baby (even the babies!) thank you Pam!

We came to Maine to be together and remember the many years we had spent here with Mom/Nana. Between this house and the other one we used we had plenty of space to spend together. There was lots of flexible space, including a bedroom on the 3rd floor. Pros: incredible location. We have long enjoyed Gooch's beach and were delighted with how close it is to this house. The views of the beach from the deck and the porch as well as from two upstairs bedrooms are lovely.the eating space -- in the dining room as well as the porch & deck in the sunnier weather accommodated our family beautifully. It was very nice to have the small children outside so we did not worry about food spills on the dining room flooring.Living room space -- we gathered as a family morning and evening, and the space in the house was wonderful for the whole group. At other times we were able to take advantage of cozy smaller spots. The kitchen is well equipped.Downsides/suggestions:The bathrooms are unusual -- one en suite bathroom with a shower but no sink; another ensuite bathroom with no shower. The downstairs bathroom, as the owner noted, is having a problem with water seeping under the wood floor. This necessitates special attention when using that shower.Locks: (or the fact that there are none) I think locks on the bathroom doors as well as the bedroom doors would be helpful in having the small children not walk in unexpectedly. We made the decision to have the newlywed couple over at the other house.Expectation on clean up: Somehow we didn't see or didn't realize that we were expected to wash, dry, fold, and put away all the linens and towels we used. With all the work of packing up in time for a 10:00 am checkout, that was difficult to do. We finally thought of asking, and the owner told us we could leave the last load in the dryer -- getting as much done as possible. We LOVE having the linens provided -- makes packing incredibly much easier, especially for those who are trying to fit everything into a carry-on -- but needing to wash everything on leaving day is tricky.We all enjoyed the time immensely. Thank you!!
