It was a great property with plenty of room to host our family reunion. Plenty of parking and wild life. Which the kids loved!

Imagine you get to stay in your grandparents ' loving furnished and decorated country house. This was a great fit for my extended family - exactly what we were looking for. We were attending a reunion in Pekin and this property was perfect: slept 12, quiet wooded neighborhood, kitchen with every amenity. There is comfortable furniture arranged for cousin time. After the reunion we cooked fajitas on the deck and had s'mores and songs around the bonfire. Big breakfast the next morning. Zero problems. 10/10 would repeat.

The house is beautiful with tons of character in a quiet setting with everything you could need. There were plenty of bedrooms for our extended family trip. Doug was quick to respond to our questions. I highly recommend for anyone going to the area.

I wanted to share my feedback on our recent rental experience. While the location was convenient, several aspects significantly impacted the overall quality of our stay. The cleanliness of the property was below expectations, and we encountered a considerable number of insects. The kitchen was also smaller than anticipated and lacked essential equipment, which presented some challenges.Furthermore, communication with the host was unfortunately poor. Despite sending several messages, we did not receive a response for an extended period, which hindered our ability to address these issues during our stay.I hope this feedback is helpful.
