Nicola’s property was amazing. What a beautiful way to spend a week in Tuscany with family. The location was ideal to do day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, and more. We stayed in the 2bed/2bath unit and it was perfect for our family of 4. Charming architecture, beautiful views, and essential amenities provided. Had the opportunity to use the pool, go jogging, and visit the local town of Montespertoli. Nicola was the best- very warm welcome, very communicative, very helpful, and provided us with many helpful recommendations. My only criticism- mosquitos. While we recognize this is normal in the countryside, we had issues keeping mosquitos out of the building. Windows don’t have screens so we kept our windows closed and AC running the entire time in June. However, the mosquitos managed to always find their way in, especially ant night. Our family ended up with multiple bites. We eventually resorted to wearing bug repellent to sleep, which helped. Other than that, we thank Nicola for his hospitality. It was an amazing first time experience in Tuscany!

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 sons using this as a base to explore Tuscany including Florence, Sienna, and Pisa. It was a perfect location arriving back each evening to enjoy the pool and relax on the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Nicola was an excellent host and was there to answer any questions, make excellent recommendations and provide any services we needed.

This property was wonderful and made us feel like we had a home in Tuscany. It was easy to drive into Florence (35 minutes), as well as numerous activities in the Tuscan region. The property manager offered great advice for restaurants, activities, and was incredibly responsive anytime we had questions. The property has its own vineyard and we took sunset strolls several times. Of course, our kids loved the pool, which we used daily after we finished our various activities out and about in the area and the city. Oh, and we were greeted with a homemade cake upon our arrival!

Overall, we had an enjoyable experience here. The grounds are lovely and Nicola, the innkeeper, is very accommodating. My primary issue is with the comfort level. The beds were the hardest mattresses I experienced in Italy and annoyingly wrapped in plastic. The lighting, especially in the kitchen, left much to be desired. It was dark for a winter stay. Peak summer would probably be fine. I hope the innkeepers will improve these things because otherwise it’s a very nice place.
