The Host was very attentive, including driving us to and from town when requested.
Although in an urban area we walked to a cafe, excellent restaurant 'High Spirits' and laundry within 10 minutes.
The shared hot pools was good at the end of a long day exploring the area including a hike on Mt Fuji.
Great view of Fuji.
Restricted showering time to evening.
No hot water in room. Although the host always provided it on request. Steep stairs to the upper room.

Iwaki Sam was brilliant - so helpful to us. Picked us up several times cos wet weather. Very quick to use his translator too!
Inside slippers were too small for our big feet!
Lovely bedroom
