I quite like this hotel and have stayed here a few times in the last few years. I'm not sure if I would stay here again as I have a sneaking suspicion that the current owner may be selling the hotel to an Asian family. They are nice and friendly, but read my comments on what I didn't like.

What really bothered me was that I booked the Junior Suite many months in advance of my trip to ensure that the room was available. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the Junior Suite was no longer available (I believe the probable new Asian owners were occupying the Junior Suite and that's why it was no longer available). I was offered a Superior Double Room, but at the Superior Double Room rate (no discount for throwing me out of the room I had originally booked). The Superior Double Room is nice, but if I had wanted the Superior Double Room, I would have booked it in the first place. The current owner (who is very nice) did offer me a buffet dinner on one night of my stay (free of cost), which was nice. But that is small compensation.
